I bought the door and dash speakers you linked in the video. The door speakers don’t fit properly with any of the brackets that came with the speakers or the one that is already on the car. I had to modify the one that came with the car to make the speaker go in all the way. Then the holes on the speaker where the screws go doesn’t align with the holes in the bracket, they are off by about an 1/8 of an inch. You can still installed it but it will be very tight. (what I did.) Dash speakers sit a little bit off the position they need to be but you can also screw these down very very tightly, and it’ll fit and sit. Now I also bought the adapters on the links from the video and so installation on the wiring side was pretty darn easy, you can’t mess up. Now the sound they produce is a little bit better than the stock speakers but not the biggest difference I would’ve liked. And I had a small issue with the speakers. Whenever I play the music loud they have this thing where they randomly stop working but if I turn off the car and back on, they work again. Idk if its a factory unit problem or wiring. I dont think it’s wiring cause I haven’t cut into any if the wires that go to the door or dash speakers so it beats me what it is. Yes all 4 speakers stop producing sound and the 2 rear deck speakers keep working. (My car Dodge challenger 5.7L hemi 2021)

I put Memphis speakers some years ago in my charger rt but it never sounded great just off the stereo alone and the door speakers only played bass. Recently I changed my dash speakers to some ds18 super tweeters and installed a 4 channel amp with it and the Memphis door speakers. Let me tell you it makes a huge difference I couldn’t believe how loud it is now the dash tweeters are screaming now and Memphis speakers sound clear. Have some comp q subwoofers for the lows and my system is complete

I installed the Infinity Reference speakers in my Jeep that came with the Infinity factory system. So much better and they look so high end with that copper finish. Topped it off with two Infinity 12s and a Infinity Kappa 500watt amp to push em.

The speakers are garbage made in China, not real Alpines. The speakers have amps located under the dash and the rear that are Alpines. Great vlog !

How's it sound with no aftermarket amp? I already have a pac pro OEM integration unit (clean RCA outputs) for my subs. Want to add more. Wondering if just the speakers themselves made much of a difference on volume. Don't need bass as I'm pushing 3k watts rms in the trunk. Just need louder and cleaned

The door speakers will only receive the bass signal and that can’t be changed unless you replace the stereo and computer

@@MaddTurna The Infinity speakers have a lower impedance that is a better match to the factory system, and they have a higher sensitivity (will play louder with less power). I upgraded my SG1 system (276w factory amp) to all Infinity reference series, REF9632IX, REF6532EX and REF3032CFX. I can blast full volume without any distortion, and was a huge upgrade in music fidelity. I just installed a 12" ported Pioneer sub in the trunk with a 500w amp to round out the sound. Just waiting for my LC2iPro to come in to restore some of the lower frequencies to the sub amp. Not much use putting three ways in the doors, as they don't receive anything in those frequency ranges, unless you plan on going full DSP with separate amps driving everything.

For the dashboard piece by the windshield, do you know what would cause tons of rattling there when driving? I haven't taken it out yet but it rattles all the time especially when hitting bumps. I'm trying to figure out how to insulate it so it stops rattling. I can't tell if the plastic is hitting the speakers or if the rubber weatherstrip on the front of that dashboard piece is causing the problem
