I really love your videos, you make things so clearly to understand even for a novice like me. I have a 2017 yamaha mt 09 & love it. You have given me confidence in doing so of my own upgrades. Thanks again for you expertise 👍👌.

Thank you very much for this video. I bought the compressor and the vacuum tool and this way is the best way ever to flush a brake system.

Man, having a vacuum bleeder would have made this a much cleaner process. Priming the lines got messy (had to do it twice), and I hate getting brake juice all over the place! Anything but that stuff, I swear. Also, for anyone doing this project-- be sure to check and double check your line orientation and fitment before proceeding. I got all done and decided the orientation of the crossover line/long line junction at the left caliper just looked wrong-- because it was wrong. Had to spin the crossover line fitting 180 degrees and stack the two in a way that put the least amount of tension on the lines when they were fixed in the plastic clamps. So, I ended up doing the project 1.5 times in all. Turned out good in the end, so far has passed the low speed test ride.

I've got front race/dual setup by HEL on mine. Installation was easy, just thinking out a proper way how to run two hoses at the place that was made only for a single one took some time.

I recently bought the Spiegler kit from you guys and, after watching this video, am contemplating doing the install myself instead of taking it to a shop. Question: What model brake bleeder is that? I think I would like a similar setup. I will be ordering from you guys if it is something you carry!
@sportbiketrackgear10 жыл бұрын
Josh, we have several listed on the website for sale. Honestly, the easiest way to find it is by going to the site, use the search bar and type in "bleed" and it will bring up the different options. If you would like further assistance, shoot an email over to Orders@sportbiketrackgear.com and one of the sales guys can get back to you. Thanks! www.sportbiketrackgear.com/

I can't find out how to open the brake line clips/holders. Can you make a detail video of this. Can't find any information on the web either. Don't wanna brake stuff on my brand new bike :) All I saw was that you put a tool like a Philips screwdriver and bend out the plastic clip?

Hi. I am thinking about getting this exact brand of brake lines for my fz07. I have the same blue wheels and was wondering how well these translucent blue lines match the wheels. Would the standard blue option be a better match overall?

Van is it same for the 2017 fz09/MT09 onwards? Abs and all?

hello great job ! this kit for Yamaha fz09 is compatible for a model equipped with ABS ?!.. thank you
@sportbiketrackgear10 жыл бұрын
The ABS is only featured on the non US models or the MT-09 and the standard lines from Spiegler will not work with the ABS models. Thanks!

Wouldn't the track setup with two full lines provide better performance than routing from the left to right caliper?
@sportbiketrackgear10 жыл бұрын
The FZ-09 is going to remain a street bike, so the main thing was getting better than stock. Brian may take it out to the track, but these will be more than appropriate. Thanks! ~Aubrey

is there any difference in stopping performance between rensport, 2 line alternative rt and OEM/over fender line placment, or just cosmetic looks?
@sportbiketrackgear8 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! The performance will not be impacted, it all just depends on how you would like to route them.

Can anyone explain to me please why Brian installed the brake line fittings on the banjo bolt for the left caliper in the opposite order from how they came stock. #stgprojectbike
@sportbiketrackgear8 жыл бұрын
+Ivan Gutsan Thanks for the question, I am not 100% sure why this is necessary but the brake line kits come with the order labeled right from the manufacturer, eliminating any of the guess work!

Time to put a radial R1/R6 master on the FZ09. stock master is garbage even with ss lines.
