In this episode we swap a sr20det in a S13 240SX in one day and fail because of a stupid turbo line. We also install a nissan t28 full ball bearing turbo.

I always take transmissions off when I install an engine but then again having a lift makes it a lot easier

matto20v. same thing I was thinking. Especially after "20 or so Sr swaps". But who are we to judge. Im a mechanic at a shop and sometimes I have off days where I can't remember what something is called. Maybe just an off day for him. At least I hope.

+Shan s Just to give you guys some insight on filming videos and working on cars. When I'm filming I'm thinking about telling a story getting the right camera angle, working on the car and on top of all that when the camera is on I still get a little nervous. I'm sure other KZbin's know what I'm talking about and can relate so from time to time I'll say some weird stuff if I notice I say something wrong and editing I'll put a caption like I did for the spark plug cover.

Change the stock pan asap to alum greddy type,if u get small dent in stock pan itll snap ur oil pickup & starve engine,learnt that the hard way on mine,spun a bearing

Buy a load balancer. 30 bucks from harbor freight and you just turn the crank to change the engine angle va dropping the motor and re-rigging it to the hoist.

You and how may other people,and you drove it that day i don't think so.i did one going from an automatic to a manual in a dirt driveway by myself and it took a month to have a running car.with no turbo swap or clutch change just get it and everything wired,and mounted proper.

10psi max on a t28 upgrade while still using stock injectors/ecu. Injectors are close to being maxed.

You can run 12psi on stock tune and injectors.

J- Tuned yeah, with a t25. Doing it with a t28 is a ticking time bomb, unless it’s an s15 engine, they had bigger injectors then s13/14 sr20’s.
