Totally could be wired really any way you'd like!! Fogs, DRLs, lo-beams, etc. But the way I did was ignition so they're on with anything any time! Could also wire into a switch on the interior which would be nice!

Did you use a switch and relay at all? Could give you more control on when you want them on or not and takes the main load off that itty bitty fuse, leaving the fused wires as a trigger wire. Just some ideas. Good video though.

received Raptor lights, today. Opened the box, went to AutoZone and asked the service clerk to assist with the add fuse wire and the negative connector, poor soul, couldn't help me. I went ahead and bought some items only to have to return them back. Could you tell me what size blue connector and the black piece that goes to the ground , could you tell me what size they are please. of course the clerk couldn't tell me if the fuses i got for the add fuse piece was right, ( I should have pulled a fuse out from the fuse box) but hoped the clerk could help me with that and even couldn't... smh... i wonder if he has any qualifications as a Autozone sales rep ??

They don't come with it in Canada unfortunately, only the USA gets the LED Headlights which is super nice.

So, just did this instal. Placed the Add-a-fuse in the INJ port like you did, but now my Incandescent DRL's don't come on at all. They come on for markers and blinkers, but not DRL. Even when reverting back to stock, the DRLs don't work. Did I mess something up on the instal? 2018 SR5

Is there any risk in using an add a fuse in the INJ? which I think is the fuel injectors. Not something you want to mess up.

Well it's just a fuse tap / add a fuse, so if you think about in theory what it's doing, there's not really any risk unless you royally screw something up OR don't put the right fuse in the right spot, that's super important I guess, but I figured if someone is trying to do this type of work and install themselves they should have some common sense haha, that's really the only risk.

So , my truck died , would turn over but not start. The first shop I took it said that they couldn't get any communication from the computer. Ended up having it towed to Toyota and they are blaming it on having an add a fuse. In the INJ slot. They said they removed that, cleared the error codes.from the computer and now it runs fine. No fuses were blown, doesn't seem to add up.

Yup just so it fits better, you kind of need to depending on the ones you buy (maybe the more expensive ones fit better though) but just to fit in the top row. If you only wanna do 3 lights you won't have to sand (and you do on bottom row, it fits perfect no modiciation needing, I only had to sad because I wanted 4 in the upper top row)

I could not find a fuse that did that unfortunately so the only way to do this would be wiring a positive connection directly to the DRL light (will have to investigate and research the harness coming from the headlight and determine which wire that would be.)

Why do you put the fuse there? Some people put it on that last fuse.

There's many different fuses you can use, totally up to you which one you want to do. Some come on with the truck, some come on only when lights are on etc, some are on 24/7, just find the one you want and good to go.

Did you do it during the Day? They don't come on until you release the e-brake. I had the same moment when I blew something. I guess i just notice it that much during the day.
