HOW TO INSTALL TAILGATE ASSIST DAMPER SHOCK (RAM 1500 2500 TRUCKS)

Detailed step by step video showing how I installed Tailgate assist (also known as Tailgate Damper, tailgate shock, tailgate absorber) on my RAM 1500. Tailgate assists will allow you to open your tailgate without needing to hold it to lower it slowly, the shock absorbers / struts will slowly lower your tailgate instead of slamming it.
