Hey guys, John here with RealTruck.com. Today I want to show you how to install the AVS Bugflector II bug shield onto this 2015 Chevy Silverado.
Hey guys, we've got our bug shield out of the box. You can see here it comes with everything you need to put this on the truck. Comes with of course your bugshield. Comes with your clips, your paint protectors, your alcohol wipes, the screws to hold it on and also your bump stops for behind it on the hood so that it doesn't slap the hood. We are going to get ready to put this on the truck. What we are going to do is we are going to take our screw and our small flat washer that comes in our package and our clip and we are going to attach it to our bug shield. And its a pretty simple, easy thing to do and that's one of the other really neat things about this is that its an easy to install, no drilling or anything of that sort. The only thing we even need a screwdriver for is to install these two clips, otherwise you don't even need any tools to put this on.
What we are going to do, is we are just going to set our bug shield up here on the truck and just line it up with the center of your push pin here for your seal. And we are going to do just make a mark right on the underside of the hood right here so that a way we know, and use something like a marking pencil like I've got here that actually wipes off when you're done. But what we want is to see these clips, we don't want to just push these clips onto our paint because it could scratch or damage the paint, so we have the paint protectors that we are actually going to use on there and that's these little white things that come along with your kit. And we are going to put these on there and that will allow us to push that on there without damaging our truck. Peel it back and then I'll wipe that mark off right before I install this and just give it a little flip over. We are going to take our alcohol prep pad and we are going to clean off the hood so that we can put our double-sided adhesive on there and it's just a matter of wiping this thing down. We are going to take our Bugdeflector and what we want to do is pull back some of our tape about two inches of our tape, not so much our tape but our tape protector and what that allows us to do is to get this up in place without having it immediately sticking to the hood. 866-554-0581 Free shipping for orders over $100!

After installing on my 2018 dodge Durango the hood will not close. I adjust the hood stop adjuster and still nothing.
