How to Install the Delta® EverEdge Shower Wall Set (60x32)

This is a really great how to video. This will help me tremendously as im doing a full bathroom with laundry in my finished basement. I had contractors estimate it to be 20k or more. Im a little upset with how it ends though. Why not show how you finished all the drywall surrounding the shower walls? Why not install a door? Im sure i can find videos on it, but i really like your commentary. Added this vid to my favorites.

Any tips on how to finish the wall where it intersects with the flange? Its indicated you can put these directly on the stud, how do you join the drywall to the flange without it cracking when the flanks shower flexes a little? Should some trim be added? Any help is welcome.

Setup a laser level on the mixer valve, then put the panel in place and mark it.

I have this exact same shower. Before I start, will it hurt to caulk around seems after everything is finished? Some videos say not to if it’s caulk less. Something to do with causing mold etc because it needs to drain, I believe is what they said. Thank you.

Can you drill through the walls of these to mount a safety grab bar, as long as it is supported with braces in the location of the walls?

I wouldn't see why you couldn't. Just probably use sealant around the joint.

do you make a base with a center drain? is their a way to adapt these to work with a center drain in the sub floor?

Why not cut your hole in the panel first, mark the center on the wall, then install the mixing valve at that location? Seems easier than screwing up the hole location trying to match the existing mixing valve location…
