That’s the best brace I have seen. Been looking for something for the rear been trying to find a different back plate with second pickup but this looks as good if not better love the way it’s tied into the arms as well awesome engineering!! I take it you guys ship world wide FDF parts in the 🇬🇧 uk

I have this brace and it looks great and high quality. But, I have been advised by my performance shop that if I install this brace, I would need an alignment afterward. So, I opted against the installation until I could get adjustable toe arms. I hope this helps. And if you're just looking for a diff brace with a jack point. Fab 5 makes one similar to the bell race, one just that it has a jack point and sits a little farther back.

Why would you need a alignment you don’t even move the toe arms you just unbolt them to slip the diff brace through on the same new extended bolt nothing changes the toe whatsoever the alignment shop is wrong

@@E_ina_G that is not how this works, if you have spring buckets, your toe relies on the Toe Alignment bolts which are removed to place the brace in. it then uses the lockout washers to center your toe bolts. that means it removes the cammed bolt that is used for toe adjustment. from what i can tell. you will need toe arms or spring bucket replacements that have adjustable toe built in, like the spring bucket arms that FDF sells. Alternatively, you could change to a true coilover for the rear but that is less preferred because the z/g shock towers in the rear are fairly soft and do not benefit from the true coilover setup comparitively to the spring bucket setup.. Please dont spread misinformation

@@dlambs I got my tie rods replaced way after having the brace and my rear alignment was fine still I put everything I got in the kit on and never had a alignment issue with it

Looks great but does it work for those of us that still have our spring buckets? I'm running tokico 5 way/ spring combo so I need the spring buckets and eccentric bolts for adjustment.

I have stock 06 350z mt - the rear diff bushing is a bit worn out. Will this help fix some of the problems associated w/a worn out diff bushing? Does this brace change the feel of the rear in any way while driving and shifting gears? noise?

I bought this brace about 6 months ago for my g35 coupe and installed it right away. Fabrication was spectacular. Fitment was on the money. I followed this demonstration step by step and installation was a breeze. i torqued everything down exactly to spec. My first question, is an alignment service required directly following installation? Second, can an alignment service be done using the replacement toe bolts and lockout washers supplied by FDF? My local shop is saying it’s not possible to do an alignment on the g35 coupe without the factory lockout washers. They are claiming that my 5 month old tires (less than 5,000 miles) are completely bald due to this FDF differential brace knocking the rear tires out of alignment when removing the factory toe arm bolts and replacing them with FDF supplied bolts and washers as demonstrated in this video. At no point in this video, or in the item description on FDF website, does FDF recommend an alignment service following the installation. I am in a dispute with the shop who installed the tires and I need an explanation ASAP. Thank you.

You bolt to the other side of your sub frame and use longer diff extensions and bolts. They sell that as an option for people with high cap diff covers
