Hello, are these working when the car's lights are in AUTO? I have the same set, but they are working only when I put the lights ON manually from the stick. I switched around a couple of plugs, and when I'm in AUTO, I now have the DRLs but when its dark, they are not switching automatically to the low beam, as the stock would normally do. I would very much appreciate your input, thanks!

MUST READ THIS FOR 2013 BRZ - The original plug harnest is missing the lil metal tip inside the plug. if u look close at both plugs theyre missing a pin u need to add a lil metal tip to both so that the day time running lights work I just figured this out today !

So these arent plug and play fir the gt86 then, you have to use that harness?

You'll need to splice wires for the GT model as the indicators and daytime lights aren't part of the headlight from factory.

Need help. Installed this headlights on my 2013 FRS. Used the extra harness that came with it and I tapped the turn signal wires to the stock harness. Now, without turning on the headlight, everytime I brake the car, the low/high lamp turned on all of the sudden and turned off after complete stop. Any idea how to fix this?

my daytime lights turned out be my turn signals for some reasons and the blue animation light does not turn on. All i did was plug in the plugs. 2015 frs. any suggestions?

update: i played with the plugs that come in the headlight and switched them around, animation turns on but turn signal does not light up, will continue to play with the plugs.

I have an issue with mine. My low/high beams on the driver side act as drl when driving. And my passenger side is normal but high beams dont work...

@@whit3tail534 2013. I used the old 8pin to 6pin from the first vlands. Ima have to see if the wiring is the same for the ones that came with the wingblades.

I have the same issue on a base FRS usdm. I have to drive with the low beams on because that’s the only mode that shuts off the high beams. It sucks.

I have the DRL going to the fuse box and grounded. Turn signals spliced to existing harness. I’ve tried unplugging the DRL resistor the US FRS has and all that did was changed it with the ebrake, but both high and low stay on.

I can’t get my daytime running lights to stay on, I don’t know if I wired them wrong, how do you wire the three loose cables? It doesn’t show in the video.

There are 2 DRL plugs on the headlights, try switching the circuit around to see if that resolves your issue.

do you need the 6/8 adapter for the brz? mines a 2013 and the boomerang drls don’t work at all, but my set didn’t come w the adapters and idk if i have to spend $100 on them or not

Do they come on with low beams? Or do they switch off with low beams? You may require a always on harness for the BRZ as they switch the DRL's (headlight/bumper) from factory and this mimics it.
