@@rexingusa Hi. Currently I have the Rexing V1 front dash cam which I hardwired to my fuse box. I want to buy a rear camera. Do I have to run it to a different fuse? Or is there an easier way to hardwire both cameras?
@rexingusa4 жыл бұрын
@@Jeram_JJF HI Juan, The V1 is exclusively a front camera only. We do not sell only a rear camera so if you were to purchase a different one separately I'd imagine you'd need to hardwire to a different fuse.

Does rear camera comes with cable?

Great video. I especially like the clarity on the camera mounting and running the cables. Thank you!

The A-pillar comes off really easy. Simply pull away some of the window weather seal along side of A-Pillar. Using a plastic trim tool remove plastic clip located just above A-pillar. You will see one hex screw that holds A-Pillar in place and remove screw. Careful pull out and up on A-Pillar trim and wiggle it out. Now you have easy access to discreetly tuck and secure dash cam power cable above or below airbag. Using one or two those adhesive tabs to secure power cable. Then in reverse put A-Pillar back.

It looks like you can’t angle the camera more up because it shows too much of the hood. How do you have this on the V1P but not the new V5?!

Hi thank you for the video, can you please tell me how to make v5 GPS speed mile per hour working? Mine is stay on 000 MPH. Please help

Only thing about those mounts is the summer heat always makes them fall off constantly. So you’re almost forced to switch between suction cups and adhesive unless you keep buying replacements

Does anyone know how to remove the V5 from the window mount? I have to send it back for repair. I had Best Buy install it and I watched V5 install video, but it does not show how to remove it from the mount.

Slide it straight up in parallel to the base you just slide it straight up towards the roof of the car

Does the rear blind touch the rear camera?

Yes, it does. That was a concern of mine too initially. You just have to put it up high enough. 👍🏽

Couldn't get my cabin cam to work. Also, the main dash cam unit randomly stops responding. Any ideas?
@DriveTalkCars3 жыл бұрын
For the cabin cam, I couldn't get it to work either at first. The issue was my fault (LOL), I didn't push it all the way in. You really have to push it in. As far as main dash cam, I haven't had any issue with responding. Are you referring to responding as buttons being pushed and getting nothing or just not coming on and recording?
@yiaxiong78643 жыл бұрын
@@DriveTalkCars Both. Not coming on and pushing the button. I ensured the cabin cam was securely connected and I could see the 4 corner red LED's come on . This happened on 2 units that I purchased weeks apart. After playing with the options in the menu I got it to work by changing the default camera mode from 4K to any of the other 3 modes. It defaults back to 4K if you reset the unit. I addressed this with tech support and they didn't know this fix. Pretty disappointing.
