Good morning Johnny I got about five minutes before I got to run out for a few. You posted it at the perfect time. You are installing a kitchen in the Gladiator? This should be interesting. If anyone had the skills to do something like this it would definitely be you. {smile} Can't wait to see it. I will be back later to recap. Have a nice weekend~ Rob/Boston

Hey Rob, yes I will be installing a kitchen into my Gladiator, it has not arrived yet, but will be here soon. I will be off grid a LOT this summer, and to have a way to cook my meals is essential, especially in the forest where open fires are prohibited, even for cooking. You can expect some epic adventure videos this year.

Looks good man I was just thinking about purchasing the full bin today. Even better that you don’t have to crawl inside to get it mounted up. With the SmartCap and the Decked system I’m sure you can feel all that weight in the back even unloaded. Thanks again!

That definitely helps that you do not need to crawl inside. Very easy to install. What vehicle are you installing it to?

@@JendellOverland I have a Chevy Colorado. I used to have a Decked system but sold it I loved that thing but it would not work when I added the shell. I actually pick up the full bin tomorrow

@@pjfaust254 I would definitely love to see that once it is installed. they have that set up for the Gladiator as well, and have yet to see it in person.

Thank you for this. I just had an EVO Sport installed on my ‘22 F150 and love it. I’ve been considering adding a full bin to the drivers side, but am concerned about how far it would intrude into the bed of the truck- this was helpful. Just curious as this vid was done a couple of years ago- do you still have the cap and if so, are you happy with how it is holding up?
@JendellOverlandАй бұрын
Thanks for watching. I do not have it anymore, I upgraded to a full sized camper. But I was always very happy with my cap. Held up really well the entire time I had it. You are gonna love it, I’m sure

@ Thank you. I appreciate the feedback- only on the truck now for a couple of months, but so far, I am very happy with the investment. Safe travels!

How do you get access to the track rail on the roof to add more hardware in the track for other components like rack crossbar. It only comes with 4 nuts in each track.
@JendellOverland2 жыл бұрын
I show up close the tracking in the rooftop tent install video. I do hope you check it out.

Is it difficult to clean the glass between the jeep and the smart cap

Almost next to impossible to clean it

@@JendellOverland dang!! That’s the biggest problem I have with pulling the trigger on the cap. Do you like it for the most part??
@JendellOverland Жыл бұрын
@@seansuarez2147 I love it. You don’t get a lot of dirt in there anyways, so not really a problem
