Thank you very much for your videos. First, I am near you in Hemet, CA. I am doing a section of my roof. Slope is 4 1/2 to 12, medium profile S shaped tiles. I am going to use a double layer of Titanium UDL 50 as the underlayment and Titanium PSU 30 in the valleys. What do you think of this combination and your experience with UDL 50?....I will ask you questions for the hip and ridge on your hip and ridge videos...Thank you very much Sir!

We use Diamond deck for the field and Polyglass and self adhered base for valleys and high volume water area pans crickets etc.

Would it make sense to use a Ice and Water shield product surrounding these penetration points as an extra layer of protection?

It definitely wouldn't hurt, I prefer to do the entire thing in a self adhered membrane. We use polyglass products, you can check out our other videos on that.

Up to you. 1 layer meets code and is better than 2 layers of TU35
