I legit just finished doing this installation and i ran in to the same problem with the clamp I ended up modifying it using some heat and bent it so it created alot of tension. I used this video to prepare myself beforehand . Good job dude ! Extremely Helpful 🤘

Wow, all these yrs with the GTi 😮 Whenever dealing with charge pipes, quick tip. Make a spare bottle of watered down dish soap, similar to what is used for tinted windows, when wet it slides, once it dries get super sticky/tacky. At least that is how I do them and works everytime, yes is true, some elbow grease is needed. I cannot believe eirher you waited so many yrs to change those charge pipes.

Were you able to reuse the stock rubber on the throttle body inlet when sliding it up? I noticed the ARM kit has 2 rubber hoses but all the ebay ones don't have the second hose for the inlet side just for the turbo outlet side. I hope that makes sense...

Yes. I’m running a k04 with diverter valve relocation elbow that goes between throttle body and charge pipe but it fit stock pipe and the after market.

@ghostlyrich I have a mk6 beetle turbo.. when they cane out with the new new beetle 2012 and 2013.5 were the mk6 platform..2013.5 and up is MQB (Gen 3 e888) I would assume most aftermarket parts for the mk6 gti will fit my beetle turbo.. I want the cts ko4 kit because this little ihi turbo runs out of steam past 5k rpm.. hopefully it's a direct replacement.. upgrade my untronic tune for 2+ ko4 tune.. I'm stage 2 rn

@@korey420 if you already have the unitronic stage two then it’s definitely worth going to 2+ if you go K04. You could also contact the guys at unitronic if you have any questions on the tuning aspect, they are some of the most helpful guys I’ve dealt with

@@anthonyberger8236 that is one of the jack points lol, I’ve had a FBO mk5 gti and currently own a FBO mk6 gti I’ve been into vw’s for long time, what’s indeed one of the jack points.
