What do you mean that hole is not on center? Having trouble understanding why you needed to use the shock absorbers for the non-motor end.

I bought one of these kits a couple of years ago. I just replaced them with the replacement power regulators for my 06 Ranger since they started to fail. Most cars and trucks are already made to fit power regulators if you have manual windows. The replacement regulators are as good as OE and go up and down more smoothly and can cost less then a conversion kit.

Hi I have one of these kits fitted great but one side will do down but won't go up you hold the button up and takes a few minutes to respond l've tried siloken spray but makes no difference would you no the issue been fitted just over a year

@@Sip28 did a relay from the battery and put a switch on to turn off and on so it’s not draining power with the car is just sitting you could also tap into your ignition wire but I Did it the safe way and ran a relay with a switch

2022 one shop quoted me $1000, another $1200, both seem to quote me the "gullible lady " price. I did my research before going to either. I knew the range for parts & labor was around $450+. I'm a hard core home DIYER but I know my limitations. I found a car audio stereo place that will charge me $650. Im okay with that price. because i looked up the part ---AEW JW universal Heavy Duty conversion kit --was $259. I'm okay paying that price knowing it will be done by a professional with a warranty by someone who has done the job many times.

Hello Chris I have this exact setup in my 79 camaro however the windows are drawing too much amps and I want to install relays in hopes the relays will provide the amps to the motors. Could you please help me figure out the wiring of the relays. I inly want power to the windows when the key is turned on. I have switched power but I don’t know how to wire it.

How does it know where top and bottom are, to cut the motor off? Do you program that once you install or does it just run and the motor isn’t powerful enough to damage anything?
