Did you have to flash a firmware from qmk before via recognized the board? I have the same board coming in this week, and I'm confused as to whether I need to use qmk first, then flash the via enabled firmware, and THEN go into via, or if I can just open via and start working from there.

Check and see if your keyboard is supported with the list on the via site. I went to the page from where I ordered my keyboard and they had a download link in the keyboard description. If that’s not an option for you, you can look at a list of firmware on the via website and find your keyboard listed.

thank you dude. My kbd 75 v2 light changed and I didn't even have a fn set which makes 0 sense to me but this fixed it and I got to add a delete to the board on layer 1. Helps so much when coding

I don't know if this will help but when I built my Tofu 65 a couple weeks ago they changed the flashing technique and I had to use Vial instead of Via. About a week later I redownloaded Via for the key tester and my DZ65v3 showed up for some reason.

I didn't catch this in the video but it would be super useful. Is there a way to have the lighting change for the different blue tooth connections. Example 1st computer Bluetooth blue, 2nd PC Bluetooth connection green, 3rd PC red? I have tried searching KZbin and google with endless click fest with no answer to my question. I use my keychron keyboard to connect via Bluetooth to 3 different PC and the color on keyboard would be useful to know which pc I'm currently connected to without hitting windows key to see which system the menu pops up on.

VIA has a setup for layer locked mechanism? Or it needs to hold FN key always when switching to another layer?

On Mac Sonoma using a Nuphy Air75 V2 in wired mode the VIA web App works fine. The issue is when I use the keyboard in Bluetooth mode. Any modified keys don't work unless a USB cable is attached only then do modified keys work as expected.

The "Home" and "End" button don't work for my Mac. I've even tried assigning them on Layer 1 but they do nothing. Do you know any way to make them work for Mac?

Thanks! I don't see them either. Best way I can think is to use the "ANY" button and map it to a QMK code like KC_DOWN, KC_UP, etc.

Hmm not sure :( It could be that you resetting it causes it to only recognize QMK. Might have to look for some kind of config file that will let you boot it in VIA again

Hi, I'm new to Via and I'm currently trying to connect my Keyboard with VIA, but there are some issues that I still don't quite understand: 1. the Via itself now doesn't need to be downloaded anymore, is this okay or should I try downloading an older version of the program? 2. Whenever I keep trying to Authorize Device, my keyboard shows up and it says Paired, but nothing happens when I try to connect the keyboard. What am I doing wrong? hey, when i open via after fixing the security warning, i can only see the blue background, nothing more. it says loading at the very beginning just like it does in your video, but then it just gets blue and there is nothing i can click or see. tried reinstalling, nothing helps.... mbp 2017
