to anyone getting the error: fialed to read product key, you have to delete the virtual machine completly, redo the settings while creating it and check "Skip Unatended Setup" this will let you say you dont have one.

One hiccup was I left it alone overnight to install and when I came back in the morning the mouse cursor would disappear while over the virtual OS. I changed something in the Virtual box menu and then I had no mouse at all! So I pulled the plug on the PC, restarted, opened Virtual box, and it went on as if nothing had happened. My only question now is I'd like to make the screen larger, but that shouldn't be much trouble. Thanks for the great video.

Created a slimmer version via NTLite and I must have removed something wrong because I get the error 0x807c0000. Anyway, the new version of VMBox confuses me a bit. Like for instance, I want to change the iso for an existing virtual disk but it doesn't give that option. So I'm forced to create a brand new virtual disk. What am I missing? Thanks.

gotta go into bios( press del or one of the F# keys before your computer is fully booted up) and navigate to processor feature(should be under OC settings) and enable your virtualization, sometimes its named something different like AMD-V or HYP-V. then it should start to work. hope this helps

this tutorial looks good and all, but for some reason mine doesn't work, and it's from either 2 options: 1. i somehow managed to get a faulty ISO file (idek if that's possible) 2. since i am using a beta build of VirtualBox for MacOS with M2 chip, it could be the VirtualBox i use.

Just make sure you don''t make a disk so large that it uses more than your PC has. Even if it crashes from just resource use afterward, the VM process will be killed and your PC will reboot just fine.

@Ed. you just have to paruse the settings in each motherboard manufacturer OR look up virtualization on your specific motherboard. I have it turned on from day one. Also if you enable Hyper-V in Programs & Features > Turn Windows features on/off, VMware or Virtual Box won't work cause Hyper-V is taking over. Found that out the hard way

Find the folder where you saved the virtual machine, usually it is found inside Documents or in User folder. And there make sure to delete completely the folder of windows 10.

When u choose the cores virtual box will show u whats the recommended, you can choose the max cores recommended (it shows u with green) and it doesnt have an impact of your host machine. It doesn’t take the cores from it and put them on vm host machine will still work same with 6 cores.

The virtual machine failed to boot. That might be caused by a missing operating system or misconfigured boot order. Mounting an operating system install DVD might solve this problem. Selecting an ISO file will attempt to mount it after the dialog is closed.

MSI had to go and hide their AMD Mobo Virtualization BIOS option under: Advanced - OC Settings TAB - OC Explore mode EXPERT - CPU Features - Enable SVM Mode. This is needed, to be able to create virtual Windows/whatever else. Had to look for it like Sherlock Holmes, ofc some old Reddit post came to rescue like always.
