I have to instal hog rings through the heat pad in order to secure my seat cover. With this effect the heat pad? Can you suggest and alternative?

It possibly can if you puncture the coil. You can try folding it out of the way to clear the the seat cover?

It was a generic heating pad from my supplier. They all seem to be the same honestly.

Hey Anthony, this is a question from an older video in 2012 on immobilizer bypass stuff. How do I use both blades if only 1 slides into my compustar unit? I have an 06 manual trans outback with immobilizer, and just want remote start while using my factory alarm/ unlock and lock. By that, I don't mean still using factory remotes. Wouldn't I need both modules (TB and AL) to override the immobilizer AND factory locks? Here's what my collection is so far: -COMPUSTAR FT-7200S -Firstech FT-DAS (Manual trans shock sensor) -Flashing software and cable -PRIME G15 Remotes Your help would be much appreciated! I've been doing extensive research in to this and this is the last piece of the puzzle. Thank you!

Probably need to run a Blade AL and an external AL CA integration module.

@@AnthonyJ350 On a different subject: My Dashcam is causing FM reception problems...Is this problem camera specific, vehicle specific, or pretty common? Some solutions are Ferret Core adapters to reduce EMF...Any solutions or ideas welcomed.

@@AnthonyJ350 ThiEYE Dash Cam Safeel Zero + with WIFI...It's 1080P with 170° ,F1.8 Lens....Not bad for an entry level camera within its price range...I would be satisfied with the performance if it wasn't for the FM radio reception interference.

Does the included wiring harness have a relay or does this amount of draw not need one?

Some come with relays. I recommend installing a relay if you can't find a circuit that can handle a good amount of amperage.

Could you just use the original heating pads and switches and put them into an aftermarket seat, I like my 03 350z heated seat switches and location, but the cushions and vinyl are donzo. I wanted to take a Braum seat and mount it onto the 03 seat rails and mounts, to keep them powered and then switch the heat pads into the braum cushion before trying to install the newer seat cushions and all onto the old z seat “chassis” but I didn’t know if that was possible. My other option would be to just deal with not having powered seats, get braum seats and install the factory heating pad into the new braum seats, using the old switches and wiring harnesses. Been watching your channel for a while now, funny now that I’m looking into fixing my seats you (a z channel) pops up, and oddly enough NOT working on a Z 🤣 Thanks Again, any info would help

Ya I don't think a lot of "Z Subscribers" know I'm an active professional technician. Do your aftermarket seats come apart easily? What the material on the outside?

As long as the shop is experienced and warranty their work.

@@rich__details Depends on the seat. Most experienced 12 volt Installers will be able to disassemble most seats. There are rare exceptions you need a dedicated upholstery guy to take apart and then an installer to do the wiring.
