🤔 Which product do you suggest to control each room temperature independently from mobile ? My property’s heating is controlled by 2 combi boilers- 1 boiler control only 1 big annexe, other boiler control 5 rooms. I plan to add more rooms. Pls provide link for the best product.

I’m trying to reconnect the wiser radiator thermostat to the app - but I’ve only managed to connect 2. The other thermostats I can’t get the light to go green after turning to the + any help

I tried for about 3 hours today to complete the setup of a new Wiser 3 system. The connection is first made to the HUB component as you show in video. But when returning to my WiFi connection for internet service to phone it all goes pearshaped. I updated HUB firmware to 4.22.4 but no solution. After each failed attempt I noticed that the device SSID name "Wiser88_xxxxxC" changes to a different SSID - the number 88 to something 77, 66, 55 for example. This looks wrong to me. Why does the SSID change after every "failed to connect"? Where do I get help or do I have to return the complete system?

@@draytonhome I followed your advice but with no success. Luckily I bought from City Plumbing and I received a full refund within 3 days.

I can answer this. You need to contact customer service and they will allocate you a new I.D. I got this and the p.o.s had been fitted to someone else's house and put back in the box

If i installed a Wiser kit 1 and then decided to add another room stat later on, do i need to upgrade the hub for a different zone?

You can add up to 16 room thermostats on your kit one but if you want individual room control you will need to use them with Wiser Radiator Thermostats to control your heating in each room. You will only need to change your hub type if you were making wiring / plumbing changes to your system.

whats the benefit of using the wall thermostat together with the smart TRVs?

Removes the sensing away from the heat source. It's good if furniture is in the way!

We have independent test data from BEMA that shows that having a Wiser multiroom system installed plus using the smart modes can save up to 30% on your energy usage.

Hello, we just moved and when we tried to set up the system we got "HubR already paired to an existing account" We encounter a warning saying "Please contact customer services". There was another tenant before us. What could be the reason for this warning? Thank you

I installed my drayton wiser conventional kit 2, with smart thermostats in all rooms (5 in total, including the bathroom) on the 3/12/2023. I have several problems 1. I have set different room temperatures as required and at different start and end times. 2. All heating kicks in and starts warming up all rooms as soon as the earliest time set kicks in even though they have different start and finish times. I work shifts, so I don't need my room heated as and when is not in use. 3. When I chose to boost 1 room as needed, all other rooms heating kicks in even though they have different start times and temperature times. 4. Even if I reduce the temperatures to between 10 and 12 degrees to stop rooms from warming up as they're not required, they heat and warm up anyway. These problems do not help with the idea of the drayton smart heating efficiency of the heating system ideas. Eg. I needed to boost only my bedroom at night after work, but the whole heating system kicked in while other people were sleeping, which is not required. These problems have rather caused my bills to increase instead of decreasing for efficiency and cost. Please, I would appreciate it if you could help rectify all these inefficiency problems. Now, I can't boost a single room without all other heating kicking.

I'm sorry to hear your experiencing issues with the system. We have a dedicated customer service team for Wiser that will be able to do some remote diagnostics to make sure the system is set up correctly. Give them a call on 0333 6000 622.

An absolutely useless system. Installed throughout the entire house 2 years ago, ​6 radiators, ​extra thermostat​ ​controler, and signal extenders. This system is very inaccurate​ in result ​you have too cold or too hot house, resulting in a waste of money on extra heating costs in addition to the system itself. It's worth mentioning that it was installed by a certified plumber. The batteries run out very quickly; you'll need to replace them 3-4 times a year. The app is glitchy all the time. I deeply regret purchasing it; it's a waste of money and time. Now I have a completely useless system that I HAVE TO REMOVE and RETURN BACK TO THE OLD FASHIONED THERMOSTAT. I'VE LOST THOUSANDS OF POUNDS.

Sorry to read of your experience. I have had Wiser system for about a year and generally, things are ok. What I have learnt is that one has to be patient. Very patient. For example, the TRVs take up to a minute to respond (e.g. when turning up the heat from the App). Equally, the lights take a while to flash, when trying to, say, Identify a TRV, using the App. And it seems occasionally that the various light flashes don't appear always to match the "Wiser Radiator Thermostat LED behaviour chart". The most annoying incident was when I switched on the CH recently - no response from the boiler or radiators. It took hours and hours to resolve. Quite by chance, I noticed that the original old roomstat was turned down to minimum. I turned it up and the system came to life. I could swear that when I originally installed the system, the instructions simply said "remove the old Drayton control and plug in the new one". I assumed that the new hub would take complete control. Obviously that was not quite the case. Anyway, I hope you have fixed your problems ok. Meanwhile, I am waiting for Schneider to modify the App so that it can be used in landscape mode. Have you ever tried operating a tablet in portrait mode with cable attached, when your physical condition is less than perfect? They are looking at it, apparently, but I don't hold my breath.

@@sawyerhja Unfortunately, I had to remove all of the Wiser TVRs and replace them with the old ones just to restore normal home heating. The system has issues in every aspect and is clearly underdeveloped, making it unfit to be sold. But as we all know, in the smart technology world, buyers are often used as guinea pigs to provide feedback to developers, who might eventually get it right! How can a home heating system be justified when it requires manual intervention every other day? It’s a​ complete waste of time. The system is advertised as a time and money saver, yet there is no chance to save money, especially considering its cost and inaccurate heating​ and you'll have to work for it. In my case, more than £2000 was thrown​ in bin with Wiser.
