I removed my Schlage Connect lock from my front door and replaced it with a different one. But then I decided to put this lock on a different door. I was so glad to have these great instructions!

Works for me, I’m a first time installer took me about 20 minutes. You don’t need all parts in the box. This video explained very well.

Never mind, just had to treat it like a new install, reprogrammed, and works great!!! By the way, the batteries are two years old and till work great!! Thank you for the videos!

Everything works great, excellent instructions, I did have to grind down my strike plate a little to ensure smooth operation of the bolt but no problem. Note for other installers: Instructions state a minimum of 5" from "Center of the Deadbolt hole and other latches beneath the deadbolt" I only had 4" and I had no problem!

Thanks for the video, does this electronic deadbolt (Camelot trim~) fit on metal screen doors ( note I am specifically asking about screen door without a flush door knob space-it has about 1/16th” door knob space “lip”)?

Hi, I have installed many of these brand new with zero problems. However, I have moved and the lock spins in the direction of the old door. I am not sure how to make it turn the opposite way. From the inside, the installation was on the left side of the old door. The new door it is is on the right. Do I need to do a factory reset? My wifi is the same and it works great if not installed. Thank you!! I LOVE my Schlage! (Model BE479AA)

I would like to know if there is a specific locks depending of de side of the door open (right or left)? because I installed a Schlage Locks and it is working inverse, when I press de lock key external side the door unlock and when I put the code and it lock.

Called and sat on hold for an hour.... with a co as small as this you'd think someone would be happy to answer.... I need to know if this lock can be programmable as to only lock at certain times of the day and not just locking after every entry

Hi Kyle, thank you for reaching out. I'm very sorry to hear the extended hold times you experienced. Our BE469 Connect can only be set to auto-lock after 30 seconds. At this time our BE469 does not support time specific/ scheduled locking. Have a safe day!

What if your door is thicker than normal, like by an inch. Is there a way to get longer screws and a long male adaptor than inserts into the female port at the inside of the door? I have a thicker than normal door and the from of the lock can't reach the back of the lock, on the inside. I need longer screws and a longer male insert (no jokes please, this is serious!). This is my second installation, and the first one was on a normal door but my other house has a much thicker door.

the lock I got got a hump facing down ( female side), while the male side is facing up, anyone knows what to do?

Thank you for reaching out! You will need to force the motor and perform a reset on the lock to correct this issue. I have provided the steps below. 1) Remove the interior side of the lock from the door and disconnect the wire connected to the back of the motherboard 2) Grasp the thumb knob and rotate it 3 times clockwise then 3 times counter clockwise (You will need to force it around to turn. You should hear the motor noise) 3) When installing it back on the door make sure that the deadbolt latch is retracted. The metal bar coming through the center of the door should be flat with a little bump on the top right. The back of the interior side of the lock will have a cylinder that the bar goes through. That should be flat with a bump on the top left so the bar from the keypad slides right in. 4) Enter a code on the keypad. The deadbolt should extend and retract and the keypad should flash a green check at the end.

cant it be connected to both SmartThings and Ring at the same time? I know it can be either....

@@malikroberts3330 Hi there. Thanks for reaching out. The Schlage Connect does not work with the Schlage Home App. You need to use a hub with the Schlage Connect. The Z-Wave version works with SmartThings, Wink, Nexia and Ring Alarm. The Zigbee version works with SmartThings, Echo Plus and Key by Amazon. Once you pair it with your chosen hub, you would then use their app to work the Schlage Connect remotely. Let us know if you have any questions. Thanks, Jenny.

@@matador_305 Hi there. Thanks for reaching out. The Schlage Sense requires the Schlage Wifi Adapter to connect to the Schlage Home App. If you don't have one of those, you'll need that first. Also, the Schlage Sense doesn't work with ring products at this time. If you are looking for a lock that doesn't require a hub or adapter and also works with your ring doorbell, you would want to check out the Schlage Encode instead. Let us know if you have questions. I have done factory reset. Every time the setup rputine runs it leaves the bolt extended. What I am to do?

Mary, Thank you for reaching out to Schlage support. Once you have completed your factory reset you will have to enter the user code to retract the bolt or physically turn the interior thumbturn.

after installation , when press the schlage button the bolt dosent retract , and when locked without typing the code if only schlage is pressed it opens. What is going on here ? any help would be appreciated. Another thing is what ever i pressed after green there's a red cross all the time. Have swapped with new batteries as well

Hello, I am sorry to hear you are having issues with your Schlage Connect. I would be happy to assist! It does sounds as though the handing may have not been properly set while setting up the lock. To make sure this goes through properly, I recommend that you walk through a factory reset on the lock and immediately after, press the Schlage logo and enter the USER CODE A that is on the programming sticker. The bolt should extend and then retract, setting the handing. After this step, you should be able to test the functions to ensure they are working properly. I have a Schlage connect touchscreen deadbolt with alarm when try to connect to the WiFi. The Schlage app is asking to push bottom on the back of the Schlage that I can’t find can someone help please

They completely skip over the phone connect process... mine won't connect at all and there are no good instructions on how to fix issue... reasonable people don't use apple products
