Thanks. For me it is clear how you mounted the booster in the black tube. What is the object you inserted in the blue cable? Is it necessary? Thanks

i just bought my 1st RO, the pump not screw when it came so i remove some tube to fix it then i think i messed up the connection. my question is i have the same valve and tube i saw at 5:28 at the back. what is it? what is the purpose? mine is connected at T in between pump out and shutoff valve and other end to the T after high pressure switch. is that correct? i cant find any reference on this setup.

Great vid. Most people don't realize how much water the cheaper RO/DI units actually use without a booster. Living in Vegas, water conservation is important. At a ratio of as much as 7:1, (waste to RO) it only makes sense to do this. If you live somewhere that has an abundance of water, no real issues, but if this pump can cut your ratio down to 3:1, it's worth it. Don't be a water pig!

Wow, they did make that simple. Are you going to mount the pump?
@MASSAquariums8 жыл бұрын
I think so. Yeah I probably will

Question, what is the pressure going into your RO? You will drop PSI going into the filters prior to RO. Maybe better to install booster prior to RO? Seems also most run 1/4" lines vs 1/2. 1/2" feeder line off intake would give more volume, more constant pressure with minimum drop. 1/2" ports on filters to JG reducer 1/2-3/8" into pump and 1/4 into RO. imo

+GREG SHARP good info
@someoyou7 жыл бұрын
Maybe not so good, coz the pump makes pressure pulses so that tubings and cartridges then stabilize the pressure right at the membrane. Not clearly got why they gave you high pressure switch, it usually has to stop the pump when pressure tank is fiiled
@someoyou7 жыл бұрын
It's not bad to have low pressure switch on iinline - it will save the pump when water goes off (if it ever happens) Another useful thing is to make auto stop function when filling your clean RODI tank, I can tell how to do that cheap and simple

@@someoyou with my ro system they recommend connecting the pump to the ro membrane

How much faster is the water output? - I got a 5 stage RO, the pure output is a trickle.. will this make much difference?

And I bought the membrane flush kit. It has a ball valve you can turn until the PSI is 80. Want me to put the link in the description
@CJSAQUARIUMS8 жыл бұрын
Great vid man! In getting 80psi from the tap in the bathroom... I wonder if u get better psi in a diff place in your house? Regardless getting it free is awesome! If I got a free algae scrubber then u could prob throw your channels weight and get a sponsored 200g reef tank and equipment! Get on it man lol

Only issue I see is forgot to put the check valve in the product line before the pressure switch. If it wasn't in the box it should have been.
