Hi, I'm using same sensor and a similar code but sensors.requestTemperature function makes system stuck for a second. How can I fix it?

You should be more clear at the beginning about the critical 4.7k pullup resistor required. The lighter is WAY too hot for this sensor. Use a cup with 1/2 inch of hot water. Sensor limit is 125C. Hot water never more than 100C.
