I know that red blood cells originally have a nucleus, but then lose it. Not sure about platelets

Stop trying to impose your beliefs on others. We're all free to have our own religions, but if you're going to block progress because of them, please don't. You should adopt the "my religion says no so I can't do that" instead of "my religion says no so you can't do that." Playing God has helped a lot of people, you know. Try to tell that to someone who got their genes fixed so that they don't have to suffer from Sickle Cell Anemia or Cystic Fibrosis. It's pretty easy for you to say that because you're most likely privileged enough that you can stop people from having easier lives. Again, stop imposing your beliefs on others. You're free to believe in and practice them, but don't force it onto others.
