Here's an item I have never seen covered on tune out magic bridges. In some cases tge saddle screws can slide forward enough when there is no string, the tip can come out of the rear hole in the saddle piece. So after changing the string your intonation is suddenly very out of wack. If you see this, you will have to make sure tge saddle screw is through the hole. This is most noted on cheaper guitars where the bridge is not really as precision as you would prefer. I hope this helps save headaches. I had a guy that first setup the strings to intonate to each other using basic A or E chord and from there he'd set the individual string intonation with his scope. He claimed this method saves time on setup if you have made several changes.

If the saddle is maxed out when doing intonation on 6th 5th and 4th needing to go towards the neck more I take out the saddle unscrew it turn my saddles around and put screw in so the flat is facing the bridge pickup and angle is facing stop-tail and same goes for 3rd 2nd and 1st string if maxed out and need that little bit to get intonation in play!

Would replacing a standard bridge with a roller bridge alleviate this possibility?

Hey i notice in some guitars the strings feel very smooth, i can even see the strings vibrating a lot when playing palm muted power chords. I see this in a lot of gibsons. Do you know what set up they do so the strings have such a strong vibrating smooth resonance with lots of sustain even when playing muted power chords that they keep on vibrating so much ?

Hello, when are we adjusting intonation is it very important to be one level ahead or behind on (I'm trying to mean example when are we adjusting E string and checking on 12th fret and indicator showing 1 or 2 level up or low) tuner indicator or is it fine ?

I owned a Floyd Rose once for about 16 hours. The nearest Guitar Center was an hours drive away, otherwise I would have returned it sooner.

I like big bends when I play. The Floyd Rose just made things too sloppy and you cannot get a 1 1/2 note bend. I just prefer a Les Paul anyways so no FR on mine please.

Thank you for your good information in the videoThank you for your good information in the video Have one question as the adjustment is very sensitive on the force you pressing the string on the 12th fret So what you think? Press the string just touching the fret or you press as much as when you play? I found if you press the way you play maybe you end up with too long string? So what’s the best way? Press on the fret as lightly as possible to get the string to make a clean note.

Some techs prefer to use harmonic on fret 12 instead of pressing. It is simply your preferences. You decide...

What kind of pick-ups are those? And the green ones in the back?
@ManBunMetalHead3 жыл бұрын
They are Bareknucle Rebel Yells. The green ones are a DiMarzio Crunchlab at the bridge on Air Norton at the neck.

Can one of those clip tuners work for inmtonation?
@ManBunMetalHead4 жыл бұрын
Definitely not the most accurate of tuners but It should work okay.

Rarely. The intonation is usually good enough

You may have the answer already, but I’m going to go ahead and say. It is always best to tune your guitar just a little flat so you have enough tension in between. That is what I’ve learned, little turns until you get close to perfect.

5:20 i am yet to see someone actually record themselves intonating a tune o matic... so far i have to: see if my 12th is sharp/flat check where i have to move the saddle loosen the strings, *take off the bridge cause i cannot fit a screwdriver there* move the saddle *put the bridge back on* tune the string check if my 12th is sharp/flat times infinitum 😐

What's up man? I had a question I was wondering if you could give me an answer to. I've been playing guitar off & on as a hobby for 40 year's now and pretty much every guitar I've ever owned I've had a problem with the " B " string being too sharp, I'll tune it to an open " E " and play an " E " minor chord and it sounds great, then if I play a " G " " C " " A " or " D " chord then it sounds like shit because the " B " string is sharp !!! I even sent it to a proffessional guitar tech to fix it but it's still messed up !!! This isn't just one guitar that's like this, I've had at least 7 or 8 in the past and they've all had the same problem, some more than other's to different degree's, but nonetheless it's still a problem !!! Do you know why this happens, or am I the only one this happens to ???? 😰😧

That's a weird issue. Could it possibly be due to the brand of strings you're using? Maybe the gauge is too big? You try a dry lubricant in the nut like TuneIt. Sucks trying to chase issues like this.
@michaelsullivan9342 Жыл бұрын
@@ManBunMetalHead Yes it's very discouraging to say the least cuz I'm always having to tune that string a little flat just to make it sound halfway descent when I'm playing chord's and hope nobody notices! It's the damndest thing I've ever seen as a guitar player, has this problem ever happened to any of your guitar's?
@ManBunMetalHead Жыл бұрын
@@michaelsullivan9342 I do have a similar problem with my Warmoth Regal on the 3rd string. Especially if I do a lot of bends, it can go out of tune. The TuneIt helps a little.
