@@banubanu1136 Akshat- please correct me if i m wrong here. Banu- you need to pay Capital Gain Tax of 10% on the profits made in Stock Market. Tax is applicable only above 1L profit. So if you made a profit of 1.5L in Financial Year 2020-2021 by selling stocks (or shares- same thing in my opinion) you will pay tax of 10% of 50k which is 5k..
