HOW TO: IRL Live-stream Directly to TWITCH, KICK

Today I'm gonna show you how to IRL live-stream directly to a platform like Twitch, & Kick using a mobile app like IRL Pro for Android & Streamcaster for iPhone.
This is a backup plan just in case there's a problem with your middleman services (it happens) and also if you want to keep using the same fully-featured IRL app that can take photos, mute/unmute the audio, change cameras, see audio levels, and more.
And if you're new to this space this video introduces the IRL apps we'll be using while doing something practical.

Hi, I think I'll make this into a separate video but for now I suppose it depends which iOS app you're using. For Moblin, it can be found in Settings > Streams > (your stream) > Chat and Viewers. For Streamcaster, Streamcast Pro, & Larix, you have to add a third-party overlay (Stream Elements, Streams Labs, etc) as a Web Widget (Settings > Overlays > Web widgets). Hope that helps. Thanks :)

Thanks! Maybe the chest mount I'm wearing at 1:01 ? The phone holder raises the phone up higher than where an action camera would be. It was a cheapie one from a local shop and the phone holder is kinda the same :)

@@ProuargeGamer the iPhone app is Moblin which I cover very briefly in this one and in more detail in some of the newer videos. It's an IRL live-streaming app like the other ones in this video but also does things differently

@@ProuargeGamer probably your video settings are h.265 when it should be h.264 when streaming direct to Twitch or Kick

@@emoney5x00 sounds like there’s a typo in your stream url. You’re probably missing /app, using my example text, or something else like that. Rewatch the video because everything you need to know is in there including troubleshooting steps. Thanks

@@elcancion for iOS the app I’m currently using the most is Moblin. It’s a bit different from the apps in this video otherwise there’s Streamcaster (might’ve been pulled from the App Store), Streamcast Pro (last time I checked a little buggy) and Larix (freemium)

hey im trying to use streamcast pro but the Kick URL is not workign when i place it. any help ??

I just tried it and it works just like in the video for Streamcast Pro. Check your URL is the same from your Kick creator dashboard, you’ve got “/app/”, followed by your stream key. A small typo in any of these can prevent it from working. Hope that helps
