How to Jailbreak and Downgrade iPhone 4S to IOS 6.1.3 | 2023 (WORKING!)

In this video, I will show you the complete guide or tutorial on how to jailbreak and downgrade an iPhone 4s from iOS 9.3.5 down to iOS 6.1.3 using 3utools software in 2022.
Why do I need to install the later versions of 3utools?
If you install the older versions of 3utools when jailbreaking your iPhone, you will encounter an error. Installing the later versions of 3utools allows you to install Phoenix Jailbreak successfully.
Why do I need to install 3utools version 2.56 if I already have the latest version of 3utools?
Installing version 2.56 allows you to install the iOS 6.1.3 software. Using the 3utools version 2.56 is crucial to the success of the downgrade.

Still works 5-9-2023! The only thing I encountered was that rebooting in DFU mode didn't work the first time. To solve it I pressed sleep/wake and home button te reset the device. After that Cydia didn't start so I had to run the Phoenix app again. When that process finished, I ran kdfu again and the device rebooted in DFU mode just fine. Thanks for your video!

There isn't much of a benefit when downgrading to iOS 6.1.3, but I’ll list down the pros and cons: Pros • Nostalgic looking / Simplicity • Stock apps will load faster • Less temperature • Battery lasts longer • Untethered Jailbreak • Can be upgraded back to iOS 8.4.1 or 9.3.5 Cons: • Difficult to install old apps, unless you jailbreak the device. • Old apps no longer working such as youtube, messenger, etc. • Might be too outdated for some • Fewer features than iOS 9.3.5 • iOS 6 Siri No longer working Thank you. 🙌

If the installation of the software has not yet been started, you can still wake up or boot up the device to its normal state, but when the installation of the software has been started, you may not be able to wake up/boot the device unless you install the iOS 9 again. Tip: To lessen the chances of errors during firmware installation, try not to interrupt the cable. If you were able to jailbreak your device and enter the kDFU mode, there’s a high chance that you will be successful in installing iOS 6 firmware. Thank you! 😀

Hmm. If its on the Itunes icon it means its in dfu. Maybe your iphone is dead? The NAND may have failed, which is the phone.

No, you didn't brick it. Try to hold both the home and power buttons for a few sec until it boots up. The 3rd party application should detect the iPhone afterward, if not,try to change cable or usb port. Thank you.

Even tried it on the newest version, and older ones like 2.52. Im having these errors all the time: ERROR unable to send iBSS component: unable to upload data to device ERROR unable to send iBSS to device ERROR unable to switch to DFU mode to recovery mode. I dont understand, i downloaded iBSS etc and got into dfu mode with the kdfu app. I have no icloud acc or pin in my 4s. I factory resetted aswell. Always stuck on 11% :/

Good day. That's weird, sorry to hear that. There are two users today and yesterday who have successfully downgraded their 4s devices without encountering any issues. It might be due to the hardware problem of the 4s that you have. I suggest to borrow or try to use another computer to see if it fixes the problem. Thank you. Also, make sure to plug the iphone cable in different ports as some ports are loose which affects the connection.

Hi there. Yes, you can use the SIM card but it depends on the 4s that you have if it is unlocked already. In my device, I can use my SIM card and I can log in my  Id without any problems. If your device is not fully unlocked by the carrier, I won’t recommend to downgrade to iOS 6.1.3 as you may not be able to activate your phone. Thank you!

Yes, you can upgrade your phone normally back to iOS 9.3.6, but if you just downgraded to iOS 6.1.3, the update that you will receive in the phone settings is the iOS 8.4.1, once you upgraded to iOS 8.4.1, you will receive an update for iOS 9.3.6. Through PC, you will receive an update to iOS 9.3.6 even if you have the iOS 6.1.3. Thank you.

thank you it worked. What I did: 1 - I uninstalled itunes and installed it using the 3utools toolbox 2 - I put the usb cable in the motherboard port 3 - I redid the same installation procedure for ios 6.1.3 with quick flash mode

Hey bro... I'm having problems with this tutorial, the proces got stuked on 20% Waiting for NAND, and after some minutes, it dispays an -1 error: Unable to restore the apple device. I tried on 2 computers, one with Windows 10 Home Single Language 22H2 and the other one with Windows 7 Professional SP1.

Ang nangyari po ay possible na nacorrupt po yung installation ng OS nung nagalaw po siya. Try niyo po e open ang itunes tapos po e connect ang iphone at e long press ang home at power button ng sabay until ma detect po siya ni itunes. Salamat po.

Hi there. If it's stuck and the screen is black, try to longpress/hold the power and home button to boot up your device. The Easy flash will allow you to install the software without displaying the technical process also it will keep the data on your iphone, but it will end up the same as pro flash, which deletes the data of the iPhone when installing the OS based on my experience. Sometimes the “idevice will connect to recovery mode automatically” happens when the phone needs to be reconnected to the laptop/pc by unplugging and plugging it into the port. Thank you. 🙌
