Thanks Aj. Me and a mate have the same setup in a wee town in New Zealand. I'm at 40ft gap at the moment. Busy working my way to hopefully get to 75ft. It's great fun! I was actually over jumping it the last time so need to move to 50 ft 😊 I'll be keen for more vids on ramps!!

My buddy has a freestyle ramp and I coasted it in 3rd on my 300xc. It just floated me to the landing and was a lot of fun

I've been riding motoland for years, i hit the old ramp next to that one a few years ago, first time hitting a fmx ramp and over shot the landing, granted it was a lot shorter landing back then, i posted the video on my channel but its so cool to see you at my local track, hope to meet you there one day and shake your hand. I found a free style ramp help me skip a lot of pain it takes the guess work out an keep moving it back as you get comfortable now I can hit big gaps out free riding and on the track

AJ, Next time you come to PHX, do a class at Canyon Mx in north Phoenix, mostly becuase they have an Enduro-Cross track and that would be great content to see how you handled those Enduro-Cross obstacles. Maybe you can get Destry Abbott as a co-instructor???

thanks so much for this...i bought freshpark ramps with extension and have been practicing. what i liked most was hearing the speed you need to hit it at for the distance. thanks! here is my question. when you say second gear on a 450, are you full throttle when you hit the ramp?

No I wouldn’t go second full throttle on a 450 it really all depends on your ramp we use 8ft competition kicker ramps I strongly suggest just keep practicing until your ready to move the ramp back and take note what throttle position your clearing what ever gap you have then when your ready to move your ramp back you’ll know you need to give it a little more throttle each time you increase your gap and i would make sure you have a nice big safe landing with at least a 10 foot safety deck on top just in case you come up short
