This is how to actually push the limits of GarageBand, even though this app seems limiting, it’s apparent that you can do a lot more with GarageBand. I use FL Studio but any software, free or paid works!

this is the only great garageband song ive found, thanks for making me into ear-drugs
@Nitroade243 жыл бұрын
I also make similar tutorials if you want to check them out. But yeah I agree most stuff on Garageband do definitely sound very Garagebandey and that's the hardest thing for me when it comes to making music.
@bdstudios60883 жыл бұрын
@@Nitroade24 true that’s not garageband’s fault though, it technically has all the functions you need to make professional tracks, it just gets a bad rep because it’s free and anyone can use it so most people using garageband are going to be amateurs
@chefelon3 жыл бұрын
@@bdstudios6088 i agree to an extent. There definitely could be more fx/plugins but it’s still pretty good as is

@@chefelon my lil bro told me that too. I’m trying to get him to give Garageband a try but he insists on using FL studio even though it’s pirated lol. he’s just a beginner so I think Gband is where he should start

Another thing you could do is side chains with the kick Just use automation on the instrument you wanna sidechain (usually lead, bass and chords for me) and just quickly lower the attack everytime the kick plays

4:27~ what effect name ?
@chefelon3 жыл бұрын
There’s no effect there, I just cut the tracks at those points but there was still reverb so that’s why it sounds like that. If you look at 3:59 you’ll see that I cut the risers, I also did that with all the other tracks
