How to keep the drinks from spilling with Uber Eats delivery?

Great info if I could add what I do and it seems to be working so far. Most importantly like you mentioned is to fill the empty space. In my uber bag I have a partition and I have it about just under one third of a way over so when I put the drinks in it's a very tight squeeze. I then packed around any empty space with towels for good measure. Also place something absorbent over the top of the drinks and down the side so if anything splashes, the absorbent material will catch it as opposed to the McDonald's brown bag catching it. Lastly get some circular peelable stickers and place them over the straw holes. Do all of the above and keep your bag as flat as possible taking extra care when placing the bag on your back and removing( if a cyclist) and you don't get spillages

I think it's high time the restaurant people identify that no matter how well the delivery guy plans in terms of spillage..there will be some amount of spillage happening...You have said it correctly..that one way to avoid spillage would be to fill up any empty space with some cloth and another idea of keeping something on top of food so that it doesn't move. These two ideas are good and can avoid spillage to some extent as this keeps the food intact. But drinks are liquid and they are bound to spills upwards once you have a bump on the road...surface challenge is a major concern. If the restaurant people can practice packing drinks with some tight lids...that would be the best move in terms of avoiding spillage...happy customer, happy restaurant and ultimately happy delivery guys

Just started doing Uber and spillage has been the hardest thing. So far, Taco Bell has the most spill proof lid 😂

When delivering hot items, I found it is better to leave bag open a little bit to vent, or you will give customer a wet soggy bagged item.

I always take the drinks out , and tape the lids down . Then place them in a drinks bag with added packing. Still get spills , but not as bad as pulling a soggy bag out , that'll never happen again

I was delivering a slerpee for a 7-11 and they got a new employee. She put it side way and lay down. She then put a sticker on top. I tried to fix it and putting it up right but I didn't know the lid wasn't close properly. Upon arrival.... disaster... I had to wash my bags, and gloves.... Always keep a paper drink holder in the bag now.

When delivering sundaes, slushies, or ice cream drinks, take off lid on drinks, and place a clean and empty styrofoam 44 oz soda cup over item to keep it cool. This is very good insulator that insures sundae will not melt on way to customer.
