When I first started it wasn't a priority and after a while the Holy Spirit began to pricked my heart with guilt so i began to press at any cost to keep it, then my heart was made joyful and now I look forward to the rest and am no longer having to press bcus now it's a way of life for me, i made mistakes at first, sometimes I'd forget and other times I caught myself in situations that made me miss or be late starting, then I began to think "hey you wouldn't miss an important dr or job appointment would you, so why miss this special appointment" so as time went on I got better and better but Praying and having the desire to please TMH made it easier and an appointment that I look forward to keeping! i love this comment , this exactly how i have been reasoning after coming in to the revelation of being a Hebrew and leaving Christianity. I kind of half heartedly kept it at first, getting distracted by blood ''family'' and the world . And also forgetting. But i felt messiah deserved more so now i prepare for it a few days before make sure i can do as little cooking as possible on the sabbath. I set my table the day before with, reminders of the covenant i am in a plaque of the mitzvah, 10 commandments a flask with oil in and an art work of the bride. I tell you even by just setting the table and putting the table clothe on made me feel like i was drawing closer and devoting authentic appreciation time to Yeshua. i am still not sure if lighting a fire is in violation of what is permitted on the sabbath. As i reason our ancestors may have used fire to keep warm if they was in subtropical climate so used that on the sabbath. shalom

Shalawam sister. When I first came to the truth, I keep the Sabbath from sunset Friday to sunset Saturday. But through much prayer and much studying, YAH showed me through HIS WORD in the KJV, and the books of Enoch, and the book of Jubilee's, and even the Apocrypha, that the Sabbath day is from sunrise the seventh day (Saturday) to sunset the same day. And it makes keeping HIS Sabbath very easy because you just prepare on the sixth day, evening or night before on the sunrises on the seventh day (Saturday). So if you work all day Friday then you have the evening and night to prepare, all the way up until sunrise the seventh day (Saturday). Remember Matt 11:30 "For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light" Satan that devil makes it hard and burdensome. Where did we learn to keep the Sabbath from sunset Friday to sunset Saturday? From them Ashkenazi Jews... They start they're Sabbath at night in darkness and there new year's in the dead of winter. The MOST HIGH YAH starts everything with light, and life.... HIS day starts at light, HIS Sabbath "day." Day is light, night is dark. How can you start a "day" which means light at night when it's dark?. But there is a ton of verses showing this and even if you look up the word "day" in Hebrew it is the light hours, the hot hours, during the heat of the day when the sun is in the sky. They even have records showing that the ancient Israelites keep their Sabbath from sunrise to sunset. You see satan is the author of confusion, and he sets out to make YAH'S ways a burden, and harder to keep than they really are. I can send you MANY verses showing and proving that the Sabbath is one day and only while the sun is in the sky, and tell you why there is no reason for a Sabbath night.... Why are our people still following the fake Ashkenazi Jew-ish ways? We can find no verses stating that the Sabbath is from sunset on the sixth night, to sunset on the seventh night. Pray for truth and guidance on this sister and HE will answer... Shalawam

@@flatwaterbeliever7865 yeah, but in exodus 31:15 God orders. He doesn't do it. And what the verse states is that its refer to any one. As you see in numbers 15. Moisés brought an individual to God for finding guilt in the man for not keeping the Sabbath And God orders Moisés to put this man to death for working on the Sabbath. The key verse shows that some individuals brought to Moisés the man and was put in prisión. They knew they had to kill the Man. But they didnt know how. We see God used people to accomplish what he wanted base on what he order from the start. So, this is what you must do base on the Sabbath. Those isrealites knew the man had to be deal with. You must do the same. You wont be keeping the Sabbath. You must take those braking the Sabbath to your leader and your leader must know what to do base on how God wants you to kill him. Don't try to justify is right there in scripture.

Great explanation. About a week ago, I was talking about the Sabbath to someone who claimed to be a pastor. He said, "God is spirit and does a spirit gets tired so he has to rest"? So I responded how was it then that from the beginning God rested on the Sabbath day and even Yeshua also kept the Sabbath as was His custom, and if he is in us doesn't it mean that when we rest He also rest too? He could respond to that. And this is a person who intends to lead people in the truth but doesn't believe that it's important to keep the Sabbath.

If any one is watching this in 2021 this helped me a lot in simplifying how to keep the sabbath. the Hebrew word/ definitely for work is mela'kah with pertains to your occupation. In Genesis 1 we see that the most high ceased from his work. / project or creation. I hope this helps someone 💜

I've always believed in the Sabbath even though I went to Sunday church. I recently changed over however and now I feel more at peace, like this is what I'm supposed to do. I'm trying to align my life where I can keep the Sabbath such as a new job and such but once I find a job that does not require me work on sabbath I know things will be a whole lot easier.

Any guidance would be great!!! Our family has been truly blessed, We Thank the Most High Yahuah for it all. Our daughters end up.playing the club volleyball games on Shabbat. It was a PM wave that starts at 3pm. It was a last minute decision. Our daighters were surprised as well. We set aside time for prayer about it & it hurt. Now are son is within Football & same situation. We spoke with the directors & coaches so we are all on the same page & they understand. We know the Truth & we know we have a responsibility. But, we are asked "Why only on certain Saturdays you play? the girls did why not your son?" Which I understand. But what family & by passers dont understand is, its not that we cant, we can do whatever we want...But, we choose to honor shabbat. From the moon is the sign of feasts (according to Jubilees 50:10 Shabbat is a feast day), a light that decreases in her perfection. The month is called after her name (moon = month), increasing wonderfully in her changing, being an instrument of the armies above, shining in the expanse of heaven. The beauty of heaven, the glory of the stars, an ornament giving light in the highest places of Yahuah. (Sirach aka Ecclesiasticus 43:6-9) The luni-solar calendar is our guide for Shabbat and feast days, since the Julian (old) and Gregorian (present) calendars are man-made and contrary to our creators calendar. That's in Jubilees 6:31-37 and Enoch 72 through 78 as well. And there are several other scriptures to confirm this as well. Hope this helps and Shalum!

The Sabbath is a gift, and it is Saturday, we are to keep it holy and to remember it. That day was sanctified and was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. That being said, the 613 laws of Moses are the old Covenant, done away with by Christ. I’d like to pose a question to you that I asked an Elder at my former church. “If God said He rested on the seventh day, why aren’t we resting on Saturday?” I was told, how do we know which day God started? That stumped me. So basically he was saying yes God created everything in 6 days but how do we know if He started on Sunday or even Monday? Could of been a Wednesday. Hope you can help. Is it a sin if I play a video game on the sabbath? If the game is GTA 5, is it a sin to do a mission? Is it a sin to roam around the city in the game without doing missions or tasks? DREA BRIN the Shabbath is on the 7th day from the New Moon. The 1st one is when the 1st quarter moon is visible. The 2nd one is on the 1st Full Moon. The 3rd is when the moon is a 3rd Quarter. And the last one is one the Crescent. Then there are 2 dark days and the the cycle starts all over again. Hope this helps.

When is it that we can keep the Sabbath? Due to James 2:10 if you brake one command you'll be guilty of all. So, When is it that we can keep the Sabbath with out braking one? Remember, if you lust after someone on that day you didn't keep the Sabbath. If you stole something even if its small; like burning music into a cd on that day. If you talked back to your parents or even if you smart talk back to them on that day is like dishonering them. If you lie on that day, even if you try not saying the whole truth; your still caught in it because God knows your heart. So, when can we keep the Sabbath? In the morinng? During lunch? When going to the restroom? When scratching your belly? Before bed? When turning on the tv? When going to church? After church? When did You not sin on the Sabbath and brake one command?
