I don't know if you still read this video's comment. But I want to thank you as a really beginner in PvP. I had no clue of what to do, and now I know how I want to bind my keys, and also I'll understand when I feel frustrated because I am not used to the new binds. I also appreciate that english isn't your native language, congratulations on having such a good accent, and making the video in english instead of (portuguese I believe), to help as much people as possible. I love your efforts, and I also like the way you talked, great video!

How I did it, and how it is best (imo): Bind Q,E,R,F,G,X,C,V;1,2,3,4. And if possible additional mouse keys. Then comes the magic: START WITH A NEW CHAR! Put the skill you spam to E. Then add the others as they come where they feel comfortable, but consider how often you will use them. For example something with a 10m cooldown shouldn't be on F.

I throw you gladly a sub, I played and raided in World of Warcraft for approx 10 years now, but since I only played combat rogue during that entire time, with the occasional assassination or 1 to 2 months of sub raids, I never needed keybinds. Now that I came back and combat is going away (rip in peaces) getting used to all of the timing with sub is quite some work and your keybinda are really helping out!

Great video! I myself am a Warrior. I have played WoW since Vanilla and have been a clicker since. I recently been looking at keybind guides because I pvp. You're right having a good mouse is key to a lot in keybinding. Although I use the Q W and E keys for movement along with my mouse, I use a Razer Naga and Razer Anansi. The Anansi has the 7 modifier buttons right below the spacebar, so it's a quick almost effortless transition to any of those plus a press of a button on the Naga. I do how ever use like you said, the R, D F and T keys for other abilities that I use often. Great video DeeDee I'm sure it will help people out a lot!

I have 2 buttons on my mouse, and i use them to scroll action pages (1,2). So that means, i have 2 number 1,2,3, and if i put the X,F;R (tab, cap) on the 2 pages.. i have alot of spells on the same position and i don't have to strech my fingers. It's really handy, and i don't think alot of ppl use it. It takes some time to get used to it, but it feels SOOO GOOD when playing, you feel you have finnaly control on your spells. And if you don't have any buttons on your mouse. (Remove the zoom in and zoom out on your scroll button) Use your mouse scroll to switch from action pages. For exemple; Scroll up: Page ONE. Scroll down: Page 2. I use 16+ abilities with 8 buttons on my keyboard. I don't know if anybody will find this uefull, but I wanted to let you guys know that this is also an exemple of really good way to bind it ! ;)

You've changed the way I play Shadow Priest! I now use scroll up for activating my dps chain macro and it just gets all my DoT spells out on targets quickly and easily! :)

i use a completely different system. to move forward i hold left and right click and move mouse around to look and left and right mouse buttons to strafe. Therefore all my movement is strictly done in my right hand. then all my abilities are completely done on the keyboard this way i can seperate the two and be able to so much more precision and quick responsiveness. This was the most useful tip anybody ever gave me to play WoW with. Hope this helps someone alls it requires is two side buttons on a mouse to use effectively. Im telling you guys seperating the two helps tremendously.

Finally I learn which Keys to keybind. I have a Razer Naga too but keybinding Shift+# and Alt+# makes is hard since I end up hitting a Wrong Button on my mouse. Thanks for the explanation.

As an experienced player I learned to take advantage of my mouse; using Scroll-Up & Scroll-Down as two buffs, when holding alt it pops my two shields. To all new players I highly recommend this as it may greatly improve your game-play and give you 6 new button spaces on your keyboard (counting Shift modifier) which you can use for different spells.

i am a left hander, so i use my right hand on the keyboard. so ESDF is my prefered moving buttons, where E and F are for strafe, and turning is done with mouse. this way i have my thumb sitting on Shift and i have Q,W,A freed up for some of my important keybinds, also R,T,G,H,B and of course 1-5 for my less used ones. Shift is my only modifier the rest is mostly the same, with the only difference that C,V and of course Alt are almost useless to me, since they are extremely hard to reach

SHIFT+SPACE is also nice for dead-or-alive spells, like hunter's FD, mage's Iceblock, pala's bubble, etc. It's probably the fastest SHIFT combination to use, pretty useful for these spells that depends on correct timing to make a difference.

I've been playing since bc with relative success in most pve, but am now changing some keybinds thanks too you, which has improved my game in both pve and pvp, but mostly in arena, this is so much easier! Also purchased a naga, and taking your advice moved all movement to the mouse and use ctrl modifiers for damaging spells, I must say it was hard to adapt at first but now I believe there is no turning back lol. thanks for this helpful video it has actually improved my game immensely. peace bro.

I have been using the same keybinds for YEARS, which are basically the same as yours. Only difference is that I was using my movement keys as keybinds as well, because I never thought of keybinding alt and crtl (hence using AWSD keys since I needed more). So this will be a very easy transition for my luckily. I really just wanted to say thanks!

This has given me a lot to think about. I play both a mage and warlock and am all over the keyboard mostly because I avoid using more than 2 modifiers. Still getting a mouse with 2+ side buttons can only help.

First of all, im german and i have to tell you that your english is realy good to understand, i feel like i understood every word :) I normaly use the keys's: 3-8(9->wind shock) on my shaman. All the other skills i use with my mouse (>I also stuck at Hexos :) Personally it's okay for me that way with the shaman, cause i don't like pvp with it at all. For my Twinks im trying to learn to play with "regular" keybinding (1 2 3 R F and so on) I like the explaining of "Group1" and "Group2"

This does help. I have played for several years, but I am just now learning how to keybind and use my keyboard more. I am not sure how to keybind my spells that are on the top bars and the side bars. However I am going to practice first with the R and C buttons first. Thank you for your help.

You can bind those extra actionbars by going to the extra actionsbars tab of the keybinding screen ingame, I found this the other day while experimenting with keybinding but it never saved :( gonna rebind stuff tomorrow, after watching this along with a few other guides and tips from my friend I will make this work

The best thing one can do is get a Razer Orbweaver. I started out on the Belkin n52te (the predecessor to the orbweaver) shortly after I started in the game. I've had people accuse me of cheating because of my high DPS and PVP ratings, and I would tell them it's the Orbweaver. If you pair the Orbweave with a Naga, you will be deadly! This is a combination some of the highest ranking PVP players use. On the Orb put all main abilities on buttons 6-10, and 11-15. Put CC abilities on 1-5. Put extra abilities on 16-20 (such as PTT). Use the Naga for special PVP macros, and use button #1 for shift/modifier key-binds to double or triple the Orbweaver buttons (button #1 is close to the thumb). You'll have buttons to spare on the Naga for common abilities, like opening bags or mounting. I also have my "Oh Shit!" button on the Naga (button #12) for those times you find yourself falling off a cliff - that button has saved my life so many times! With these two tools you will never need to touch your keyboard again unless it's to type in chat. This also saves a lot of ware and tare on your keyboard if you're playing on a power laptop (like a MacBook Pro). I also recommend the addons Button Forge and Opie. With Opie you can have raid and target markers a mouse click away, and you can even bind all of your favorite mounts. Opie also frees up your screen a lot if you want the minimalist screen look. Abilities you no longer need to have on your screen when you use Opie to consolidate key binds include: Buffs, food, flasks, etc; Mounts; Raid and target markers; Totems; Professions; and whatever else you can imagine.

This was pretty helpfull! I am getting used to using normal keybinds, since I have had a Naga for almost 2 years, and almost had no keyboard binds. I didn't really find that to be optimal, in case my mouse breaks and I have to borrow a mouse with less buttons. Or if I am put in a situation where I can't use a Naga. Thanks for the video man :)

I don't understand why you don't use "Q" and "E" though. I moved the strafe buttons from Q and E to A and D and then only turn with my mouse (by holding down the right mouse button) to open up Q and E for keysbindings. I use shift + front side mouse button for sprint and blink, the reason why I have it under shift is because it's a cooldown on those skills.

Yes the n5 is numlock 5 ^^ It is if you were pressing on the keyboard, but I have a naga with 12 buttons on the side, and the buttons on the mouse are the numlock numbers so berserker rage is actually binded to my mouse ^^
