I was learning how to skate back when I was a freshmen in high school. That was 9 years ago. I learned how to ollie, 180, shove it, heel flip was still working on that and making my way to a kickflip. During this time I was also learning how to ride off a quarter pipe ramp. Well my school got rid of the skate program that year. Sucked!! And I haven't skated since but for many other reasons. Now I'm thinking to myself if I would have never stopped learning I would've been a badass skater by now! I so want to get back into it again :)

I havent skate boarded since I was like 17 and I'm 28 now. I bought a board because of these videos and I just landed my first kickflip. To be fair I do have some experience from when I was younger but within a month I've learned to heelflip and kickflip. It's not super consistent yet, but I can land it like 6 out of 10 times. These videos helped a LOT. Everytime something wouldnt work right I would figure out what I was doing wrong and I would correct it until I got it right. I am so thankful for these videos for getting me back into skating and damn are my legs sore lol

Is it ok if I sakate differently than others? I always push with my left leg and put my right leg on the back of the board.
