Beautiful mittens and the length just makes sense. Who wants snow getting into the cuff at the wrist? Your puppet show reminded me of when I was a very little girl (many thousand years ago) and I watched Shari Lewis. She had a sock puppets and my favorite was Lamb Chop, a sheep puppet. Figures that a sheep was my favorite! Thanks for that memory. Love you both! 🐑🐑🐑❤❤❤

I just had to mention that your purling technique is also saving me on double knitting - I was trying to purl them but by putting the yarn on my left finger it became so easy to do the slip purlwise without making it a stitch. So from here in Southern California (just North of Palm Springs) I was thanking you both for bringing me greater success in my simple project for donation knitting. I donate to the thrift store that supports the local little hospital and another that supports the shelter for abused women and they sell the hats and headbands to people who don't realize that at this higher elevation, they need to keep their heads warm in winter! So THANK YOU!!!!!

I am trying to learn your Norwegian way of knitting. This has so much information on holding the needles and yarn. I am getting arthritis and have to learn some new ways to hold my hands when I knit. Thank you for your kind help - I can watch on slow and can watch several times - which I do need to do. One thing: I can always clearly hear Carlos, but Arne's voice is so soft I have to turn the volume up quite a bit - especially when he is explaining. Not just this video but others, too - it seems like Arne's microphone is turned down.

Hi Arne and Carlos! Have you ever designed mitten pattern where the end of the mittens (over the fingers) can fold back in some way to make the fingers accessible, like for typing or texting, without taking the mitten off? I've seen them for sale as a finished garment, but I was hoping you two might have done that sort of pattern? As always, love your videos! 😎Thanks!

I‘m always wondering how you in Norwegen or England pull the yarn over the needle with the fingers I‘m from Germany and have learned to do all the stitches with the needle. For me this seems so awkward and slow to take the yarn the norwegian way. But ist’s all about how you‘re used to do something. In the end the pattern is fantastic however you knit it.👏
