I just knit one slipper, using worsted weight yarn...it came out HUGE!! LOL!! It fits my husband's big foot with room to spare. I can't imagine if I'd used bulky weight yarn. I'm not a beginner, and have knit lots of slippers. I did enjoy the pattern, I will use much smaller needles next time, and go by the smaller of the 2 sizes.

Thanks so much for this fab tutorial! Can I ask you a question about picking up the stitches, please? I picked up the 20 along the right side, then 23 around the top and left, as instructed. However, the pattern states that there should be 77 stitches on the needles at the end of the row, and I have 65; should I have knit 12 stitches between the two sets of picked-up stitches? Hey there, These are written for sizes UK 4-5 (6-7) but you can always knit a few extra rows to make the foot longer 🥰✨

Love your tutorials - easy to follow. Just one question - does the cuff have to be mattress stitched on the wrong side so that when turned out the ridge of the seam does not show? Hello again Debbie, I have made 7 pairs of these slipper socks with 12 ply wool and they are great! I have made them all in the colours of our Australian Rules Football teams, haha. But, the 2 sizes you offer are not suitable for an adult man, i.e., my son! Is there a pattern for an adult male, OR, how do I increase the size using the current pattern? thank you :)
