Thanks, Norman, for showing all three in the one video. It's useful for referring to.

I find these tutorials have truly been the most helpful. I will chant the steps so I create the stitches uniformly.

very happy to hear that. I still remember when I had to learn and only found these grainy, dark, out of focus videos and it really was soo difficult. So, I kinda wanna do better :P

Another perfect video, And Very useful. Thank you, Norman. Would you please teach us how to shape perfect neckline on a raglan sweater? I mean those short rows with wraps And turns. And how to work it neatly in brioch? This needs a real master, like you... ❤️

i have no sweater tutorials planned for the near future. But there may be a short rows tutorial ;-)

So if you do an m1 not learning either left or right, like the first one you did in the demonstration, you make an eyelet? So if you don't want an eyelet you should do m1L or m1R so as to not create an opening? Thank you for a wonderful video.

Great video! I’m working a Latvian Braid on the brim of a hat. Any tips on yarn management?
@nimbleneedlestwo2 жыл бұрын
not sure I understand your question? What you mean with yarn management?
@maniacalmoz2 жыл бұрын
Hi Wintersfire11. After the first row of your Latvian braid, unwind all the yarn you think you will use for your purls for both Row 2 and row 3 of your Latvian braid, then unwind a little more. When knitting row 2, do not waste any time untwisting your yarn, because it will untwist by itself when you lift the yarn the opposite way when purling row 3. I love Latvian braids, but you need to be careful with your tension, not too loose but not too tight. Good luck!

Hi Norman, thank you for another fantastic video. ❤ I have a question to ask you. M1 and M1L work perfectly all the time. But, sometimes I have problems with M1R. I know that you enter the strand between the needles from back to front, put it on the left needle and knit in the regular way. When I start with say 12 stitches and do my M1R after the 4th stitch in every knit row, I get a right leaning increase. But, if I knit until there are only 4 stitches left and then do my M1R, I get a left leaning increase. What am I doing wrong? 😢 Eva
@nimbleneedlestwo2 күн бұрын
hm...it sounds like you confuse the lean of the stitch with the lean of the fabric. The lean of the stitch is defined by the look of the resulting decrease line. You can absolutely use a right-leaning decrease in any other position as well. It's just that the resulting decrease line will look different.
