This does look like a lovely stich for a washcloth. How would regular cotton yarn work with this stitch or would a cotten blend dk weight be better?. Id like to know your opinion due to having never done it before. That way i wont have possible issues with it and have to switch halfway through. Thankyou very much and ty for sharing 😊

A cotton blend would make lifting the stitches easier as it’ll have just a tiny bit more stretch, but if you’re comfortable knitting with cotton then it will definitely still work
