I'm late to the party due to some health issues but I wanted to say I appreciate your teachings Kennis. Your approach is excellent. There are so many that want to run through theory lessons a little too fast without realizing that they are teaching students. That said keep up the great lessons. I will try to be ready for your next one. I've kinda done these not in order but I do have a decent skill set in theory. I am really trying to tie it all together and your lessons are helping me get it done. I am a pretty seasoned musician playing for over 30 years but I always played other bands songs so it wasn't really necessary to learn theory. Now though I have written 24 songs and I realize how much it's needed. I've been a subscriber to your channel now about a year I believe. So I thank you and look forward to the next one.

As a guitar player, without a keyboard background, it's very helpful to see it explained on a keyboard. I think every musician should start on a keyboard. I asked a piano teacher what the difference between a major and a minor cord. She simply said the 3rd is flatted.

Thank you foe this video. I came across it while trying to learn a way to know what chords go on each key. You've not only shown me, but taught me how to figure it out myself. Best video I've watched. Liked and subscribed 👍🏻

Very cool! You take all the mystery out of it! I wish some of my music teacher would have followed your example. I would have got this a long time ago!

Hey Kennis I have an app called circle of fifths (free no ads) by josh liebe that is pretty nice. It has a lot of features and plays the notes in single or arpeggio. It's color coded and I have come to like it a lot.
