Hey guys, thank you so much for creating this space for me to express my thoughts in this way. I wasn’t sure if you would like the talking part, I love you 🥲🤍 I worked on a new creation pack: it includes a 130 minute detailed painting demo with voiceover and live commentary, where I explain what I‘m exactly doing to create this painting. It’s filmed like my KZbin Videos, multiple angles in a comfortable environment! 🍵🎨 There are also Tutorial Sheets included, where I show you how I work with my reference, which compositional rules I followed, a step by step guide on how to paint glowing objects and much more. Check it out on www.patreon.com/valerielin to support my work It’s available at a discount price till the end of this month 💫 It will be gone from Patreon and available at a higher price on my website. Still working on it :) 🔧✨

Wow, you are too beautiful whomever sees you shall believe that God is real, and whenever I see you I am always in a dream, and when we wake up we all will realize that all this life was nothing but a dream and that only God is whats true and real. I dont know how can atheists believe that such a beauty queen came from monkeys hahaha 😄 عن الإمام علي "عليه السلام": عَجِبتُ لمن شك في الله، وهو يرى خلق الله Imam Ali, peace be upon him, said: I wonder at the man-man/women-who doubts in the existence of God-Allah-although he sees His creation. وعن الإمام علي "عليه السلام": عَجِبتُ لمن أنكر النشأة الأخرى، وهو يرى النشأة الأولى Imam Ali, peace be upon him, said: I wonder at him who denies the second life although he has seen the first life-this life is a living proof of both the existence of its creator as well as a clear proof that indicates that another life in heaven or hell may also be a possible chance as well-. وعن الإمام علي "عليه السلام": عَجِبتُ لعامر دار الفناء، وتارك دار البقاء Imam Ali, peace be upon him, said: I wonder at him who inhabits this transient abode-and is so indulged in it-but ignores the everlasting abode, kzbin.info/aero/PLFP6dYI5m3l9nRCG_REpQxQ46fCXAy3Aj There was a teacher whom didn't believe in existence of God, He said to his students do you see God?, the students replied no we don't see God, so the teacher said if you don't see God it means there is no God, then a smart student stood up and said to the other students hey guys do you see the teachers brain?, then the students replied no we don't see the teachers brain, the student then said then the teacher is crazy he got no brain :0) these verses of the bible they are exactly like quran and Islamic belief-although like other muslims I dont realy believe that all verses of todays bible are really from the original bible which was revealed to Jesus(peace be upon him and upon his great pure and very pious noble Mother)-. The verses are about God the-almighty-creator!..its so similar to Islamic beliefs! thats why I like it: 1.God Is One! - Deut. 6:4; 1 Cor. 8:4 yeah, one God for all of us. God is God and is one-not three..nor two nor billion- 2.God Is Truth! -Psalm 117:2; Jer. 10:10 3.God is Light-Surely not the physical light..not the photons meant here I think, God however is the source of the existence of knowledge and wisdom, and you know that wisdom and knowledge are both like light..but for our brains..true? :O) - 1 John 1:5 4.God Is Infinite - Jer. 23:24; Psalm 147:5 5.God is All Knowing.. - 1 John 3:20 6.God is Everywhere-but in a different way though..I mean, God is not a thing confined within limits of dimensions- Psalm 139:7-12 7.God is All Powerful - Jer. 32:17,27 8.God is Unequaled - Isaiah 40:13-25 9.God Is Perfect - 1 Kings 8:27; Psalm 139 10.God Is Most Wise - Rom. 16:27; Jude 1:25 11.God Is Most Holy - Isaiah 6:3; Rev. 4:8 12.God Is Most Free - Psalm 115:3 13.God Is Most Absolute - Isaiah 44:6; Acts 17:24-25 14.God Is Without Limit - 1 Kings 8:27; Jer. 23:23-24 15.God Is Eternal - Psalm 90:2; 1 Tim. 1:17 16.God Is Incomprehensible - Rom. 11:33; Psalm 145:3 17.God Is The Almighty One - Rev. 1:8; Rev. 4:8 18.God Is Gracious - Exodus 33:19; 1 Pet. 2:3 19.God Is Merciful - Exodus 34:6; Psalm 67:1; James 5:11 20.God Abounds In Goodness - Psalm 31:19; Psalm 52:1; Rom. 11:22 21.God Is Forgiving - Dan. 9:9; Eph. 1:7; Psalm 86:5 22.God Rewards Those Who Seek Him - Heb. 11:6 23.God Is Just In All His Judgments - Neh. 9:32-33; 2 Thess. 1:6 24.God Hates Sin - Psalm 5:5-6; Hab. 1:13 25.God Is the Creator - Isaiah 40:12,22,26 26.God Is Shepherd - Gen. 49:24 27.God Does Not Have A Human Body - Luke 24:39; Deut. 4:15-16 28.God Does Not Change - Num. 23:19; Mal. 3:6; James 1:17 29.God Is Without Limit - 1 Kings 8:27; Jer. 23:23-24 30.God Is Incomprehensible - Rom. 11:33; Psalm 145:3, and is greater than to be described or imagined do good to others and decrease your sins and be closer to God, thats the best thing any person can ever do in life. You never know if there's someone else in your small town thinking the same thing. They could be much older or younger than you as well, so don't discredit people for their age. This is so philosophical. I think the emotion you are trying to evoke with the whole dystopia/utopia is similar to the story of “Don’t Look Up” and “Nope”. It’s a very humanistic way of looking at ourselves as people. Anyway, I’m getting a kalimba too because I’m also obsessed with Avatar’s Love. ❤

I'm thinking that artists offer a mirror - they show us parts of ourselves we wouldn't notice or think about otherwise. And through that, we learn more about ourselves, our oppinions, emotions, this reality... Everything. I think artists aren't trying (or supposed) to show us how things are - they offer us the chance to find out for ourselves. It's almost like the art is a portal to a hidden/forgotten place inside our psyche. I've been wondering about the meaning of art as well, this video got me thinking so thank you! I loved the vibes and every single message you shared, you made me feel the sunshine even tho it's a foggy morning here ✨🤍

I’m so engaged in the way you talk and let yourself be carried into the flow of a thought. I can’t express it perfectly but I understand so many things you say in this video, not just with your words but with the way you peel tape off the painting, the way colors have to be right, and the way you allow the camera to focus on dust floating in the sun. This makes me feel so inspired and hopeful, watching you talk to the camera with such honest eyes and wonder reminds me why I like thinking about these things as well, and why I love to make art about them. Thank you, you wonderful soul 🤍🪞🕯️🫖

Oh my gosh! I have had a very confusing last three days, week actually, and it has tempted me to feel bad. But I don't want to feel bad , and now I have found you. I am struggling hard right now trying not to lose the joy and happiness I find in my creative process because circumstances have led me to a place of comparing myself to others and coming up lacking, of pressure to commercialize and to perform to the expectation of others with a judgement of not meeting the prescribed expectations . I'm not with out skill, I know that, I've invested much time money and effort in skill building but my sensitivity and the thought process and the act of concentration and focus seem like they want to be protected so that my own unique expression or even the spirit coming through can manifest. This is about something within me that wants me to recognize and integrate it , alchemize if you will, as you talk about so wonderfully. A sort of Asperger approach to life, that leaves me stiff and socially awkward, uncomfortable, anxious . I have started to address it in my visual work trying to bring more rhythm, more poetry, more childlike playfulness which I guess makes the work more of a therapy than a commercial venture. So there you have it. I love your emphasis on authenticity and your thought processes and the example you set.

Hi Ms Valerie. I don't know if you'll see this but I just want you to know how much your videos have enriched my life. It was a major phone addict when I found your channel. I used to lock myself up in my room and stare at my phone screen for hours. I knew I wasn't happy but I couldn't get myself to stop. After finding your videos, I tried to incorporate the lessons you taught into my life and I became so much more mindful of my behaviour. It took me a couple of months but now, I have largely recovered from a year long addiction. Mindfulness has made me happier than ever before and I owe a large part of it to what I have learnt from you. I'm still pretty young so I'm happy to have realized this at a young age. I'm so grateful to the internet as it has allowed me to find you and learn from you even though I live on the other side of the world. I've never commented before but I'm just writing this to say thank you, Ms Valerie for your videos. Thank you so much❤️

I believe in the concept that a person receives a mirror of what they put out into the tangible world. When on decides to struggle in the pursuit of excellence- when someone is plagued by the need to be intelligent in any field- they receive excellence back. This is law to me. So, when I am faced with a choice and I am offered an excellent thing that is worth the fight for it, I will naturally pursue that thing. I believe this is why you do what you do. You do it with so much consideration for your impact as well! You are excellent! ❤

Proud of you Valerie! ❤️ I had a conversation with someone a few days ago and they told me the importance of knowing your why. I relate to this feeling you had of asking yourself why you're creating art and not really coming up with a "good" reason and it felt strange realising I never wondered why I create art. After an hour or two I realised my why and it's just three words. art allows growth. Humans are amazing but in my opinion we need the inspiration and motivation to unlock our potential and I feel art does that in all its different forms, be that movies, dance, cooking, writing, music, etc. Art creates for us the opportunity to become better & grow. Hope that makes a bit of sense, thank you for another awesome video and your art is stunning 🖤✨

Your watercolours are insanely good! It has an ethereal quality. I imagine a calm and collected state of mind is more vital for a water colour painter because of the concentration required, working in an unforgiving medium. You can't scrape it off or sand it back and repaint it, as you can with oils, for example. Every stroke has to be right.

Thank you for your sharing your honest reflections of art, and your world and how they react with one another. When you create for your joy, this is how an artist survives. Art like life is experienced at an individual level. An artist, many times is creating in solitude, but then when you see how others enjoy your creation, it wakes up the dreamer that was necessary to create the art in the first place. Yes, create, but also give yourself a chance to find beauty in the world. Take a look in the mirror. You are beautiful. It is also outside. take time to take pictures or make sketches of subjects you can use in your creations. There are many, who see themselves in you, this includes myself. You are in great company. When I see your art, YOU are actually the GREAT in the group. May you and yours stay healthy, joyful and grateful for the experiences that allow us to grow. I love you, like I love myself.

I love the talking part soooo much!!! I think you're the first youtuber i saw that speaks out their thoughts unscripted. I love the pauses and knitted eyebrows while thinking hardly of your deep thoughts. A free flowing words from your mind and definitely love that eureka moment on 15:21 as you stare on us (i know its a camera lense that u see hahaha) but your stare (as if looking straight in our soul) and your expression of realization is so beautiful. I can almost feel that feeling of realizing something when your mind is roaming around. T_T your mind is so beautiful, i would love to hear more of your thoughts like this if ever you feel like it 🤍🤍🤍

I find that your videos pair quite well with... putting your feet up, sit back with a glass of wine...or maybe even in the bathtub, with aromatic candles around. You exude depth and maturity beyond your years. Thank you, Valerie. I always look forward to your videos. Speaking of ethos and morality and when one achieves it... there's a documentary on Netflix "Babies" that talks about how babies grow and develop...that they aren't boring simpletons. Apparently, morality is keyed in... it's inherent and in-built. It gets honed over the years by parents/caregivers.

WOW… so many things to think about… from one video! I’d just like to say… I believe that your videos themselves are “ art”… something from within yourself… that touches and speaks to … or connects with someone else seeing or experiencing them. Your videos are art… about your other art… your paintings … which are also created from somewhere inside you. I hope you realize… how many people you touch through your videos… how thoughtful they are… I appreciate you… thanks 🙏 very much 💐 Good work on the bathroom and kitchen … 👌😉👌 … enjoy the fall season 🍁🍂🍁 Peace… stay safe and well…

You remind me of Mr. Roger’s but for ADULTS… and that is a HUGE compliment. He use to give me a sense of safety when I was little. You have that gentle ability to explain life in a way my brain can listen and understand. Very engaging and overall just phenomenal genius way💫🧚❤️

Artists are good with extracting an abstract idea from this real world, they are good with seeing unseen things and reading between the lines .. and yeah that could make people think through their creations about life..because life itself is more then this material world we see

Thank you. I so enjoyed this video. My friend and I laughed together this week. We were talking, teasing apart definitions and ideas, together, trying to come up with the exact concept we were wanting to talk about. We laughed together that we should have recorded it and made a podcast. Because we got philosophical and deep and we had great fun together. We would love to discover together with other people too. It is so enjoyable. Challenging. So I connect for sure with your words in this video. Best wishes.

I believe the thinking is our struggle to find the space of our true self. Something hidden... something deeply magic. We try to replace it with discipline. To wash our dishes, do chores, cut our addiction to the phone. But as we learn to step into our deep truth of being, discipline has no meaning. We learn to feel, sense. We just know

You find life in art of course💜 as Van Gogh paintings or Munch... Every artist is an important human in this world. Artists are the future of this world. Without Art lot of issues in life , we cannot understand alone.

I’ve watched your videos from time to time and was always captivated by how you have such a strong vision of your art and are able to bring it to life, where each stroke is meaningful no matter how small. I now understand more your thought process behind this. You think a lot like me. I am no consistent artist so my topics are different but I always look for deeper meaning within myself, whatever my mind is occupied with. I think you have beautiful perspectives which I wish I could just spawn into my brain somehow. Communicating them is often hard because things like this come in the form of personal feelings rather than understandable words for everyone. But please don’t feel bad for trying to communicate them, because they are so interesting. I also loved the philosophy story and I think I could listen to you all day talking about whatever. Love, Lara

I know this is 10 months old now upon watching and commenting…But ahhhh, this is so refreshing! I’m so happy you’re a philosophical soul. Even though it’s not a conversation, it’s a video made almost a year ago with your voice over, it’s so nice! This video is timeless. 😊🌿

Hi, I'm a psychology student and is also an art enthusiast. This video, especially the voice over, is very deep. The "why's" question you asked is an indication of existential crisis, which is understandable at our human nature. This also indicates that no matter how we neglect it, the fact is we can't comprehend everything "through science" hence the existence of "spiritual". No matter how much beautiful or good you tried to live on earth, without a relationship to your deeper and higher self, your "purpose" in life would be undetermined... which is sad because we're the kind of creatures that which crave for meaning and purpose... And so, the ONE whom created us put that "why's" questions inside our heart for us to SEEK the TRUTH... the purpose... The meaning... Why we're here. And let me tell you, I found my answer through these verses (and some deep-dive study background behind these:) Know also that wisdom is like honey for you: If you find it, there is a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off. Proverbs 24:14 . Ecclesiastes 3:11 (NIV) "He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end." . Romans 1:20 (NIV) "For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities-his eternal power and divine nature-have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse." . Colossians 1:16 (NIV) "For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him." . You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13 . This may sound biased, but I just wanted to be honest... As an artist myself, I've been lost in the ocean of questions and was nearly drowned to the dark side of life, searching for the meaning of it all... until I found it in God. He REALLY is the Great Artists of all Arts & Artists! And I tell you... Once you've finally found the TRUTH of Purpose in Him... Your art and being as an artist... will flourish not just with beauty but with overflowing meaning and wisdom! Have a nice day!
