You're the best calisthenics KZbinr out there, man! most informative, most helpful videos by far! This made me decide to start progressing towards L-sit pullups, seems like a great exercise to have as my main pull lift! keep it up!👍

This is crazy. I did a mixture of of your previous Day A and Day B routine for doing a pull up and literally did my first L-sit pull up today. Thank you

Explosive L-sit chin ups are great. I mostly do non explosive L-sit pull ups at home, i`ve not much space between my pull up bar and the ceiling :)

What do you recommend for a beginner who can’t even grip the bar? I’ve been training dead hangs to failure 3 times a week but I’m not improving at all. Should I just do it everyday ?
@BodyweightProcess Жыл бұрын
You can definitely start using chalk ! It will help you hold for longer durations and help with grip training, but I wouldn’t hyper focus on going to failure with ever hang attempt. I have a “Develop Your Pull Ups” routine that you can check out which does include hanging on specific days. In general though you would be using your grip for most of the exercises involved (beginner friendly & link in bio) which can help improve your grip overtime while helping you develop the strength needed for pull ups. If a better pull up is your goal as well, Let your focus on improving pull ups with direct/accessory work help improve your grip strength while including hang holds. There’s a lot of ways to improve your grip, let time and consistent effort bring results 👍

how many reps is good ?
@BodyweightProcess Жыл бұрын
It all depends on your goals, this video is mostly just showing you how to perform the L-sit, why it’s difficult, and exercises you can implement to work on it 👍
