Thanks g you always an inspiration ps : My shoulders hurts so badly while doing ring pushup any solution?
@BodyweightProcess2 күн бұрын
Hard to know without seeing, but it could be that you’re doing them at an intensity you’re not ready for just yet and making compensations. Check the ring push up progression, it goes over how to decrease/increase intensity Try raising the rings to mid thigh height and stepping in front of anchor point to train at a high incline . If that still causes issues, I’d regress to the floor/parallette push ups. Reassess and check up on form 👍 And appreciate the kind words man thanks for watching 💯

getting huge bro! Only doing calisthenics, primary rings? started to watch your channel when you made the Body By Rings review, great content!
@BodyweightProcess2 күн бұрын
Thanks dude 🤘 Currently a mix of calisthenics/weights which is helping me with some weak points and training around some nagging injuries. Main focus currently is Planche/OHP. Rings will always remain and I use them for accessory work with my pushing/pulling 💯

When done properly, ring push ups can give you such an incredible chest. I focus on stretching the absolute fuck out of my pecs going as deep as possible. Even unweighted, a few sets of deep myorep decline ring push ups will tear your chest up
@BodyweightProcess2 күн бұрын
Nice yes man! Unweighted deep ring push ups can be super underrated. Genuinely no need to rush into weighted ring push ups and changing the angle to decline.. you’re getting a sick pump. Thanks for the input 💯

Great list! i'm just curious how do you feel about weighted decline Ring push-ups? I like to do them with my feet on a stool so it's kinda like a pike position only my legs are straight. Do you think that might be too hard on the shoulders overtime? edit: forgot to put ring! so it looked like I asked how you felt about regular decline push-ups lol I meant decline ring push-ups.
@BodyweightProcess2 күн бұрын
Definitely a nice one for targeting the upper fibers of the chest. In regard to doing them weighted with rings, I’d only recommend it if it’s: 1. Comfortable for you 2. You’ve been exposed to weighted ring training already 3. You’ve trained Decline Ring push ups for some time without weights Since I normally would perform ring push ups (weighted or unweighted depending on training phase/day), whenever I went decline on a push day where I already did ring push ups, I’d use the floor for decline to get the best of both worlds and rep out 1-2 sets close to failure. All comes down to if it works for you and they don’t cause any issues 💪

can i do both options in one session? or is too much for beginner ? Might as well go all-in while im at it
@BodyweightProcess3 күн бұрын
Id recommend not doing all of it in one session, that’s a bit much but that also depends on the work capacity you can currently handle. You’d be doing a lot of supersets 😂 This one spreads it out across the week and changes from different horizontal/vertical compounds to different “isolation” exercises. Just avoid overdoing it 🤘

It also depends on keeping in shape from youth... and if you've lost that strength and routine, get someone who will motivate you back into it without stressing you 2 much.

“ The feet behind or in front of the anchor point “ queue is very very very important to understand ! That makes a huge difference in how stable or not the rings are . This is one of the best rings push up progressions on KZbin

sir I feel like my head is about to explode after 5-6 reps 😢😢
@BodyweightProcess17 күн бұрын
Sounds about right 😅 jokes aside I’d cut the reps for now and add more sets if you wanted. Just get really comfortable with doing 2-3 per set (or cut the range) and also focus on your breathing which can be an issue if this is too difficult to perform at the moment

What's advantage or diffreneces about doing L-Sit pull ups than regular pull ups?
@BodyweightProcess25 күн бұрын
You could view the L-sit pull up as a harder variation of the pull up. With the lats being lengthened a bit more due to hip flexion from raising the legs, it'll increase the difficulty on the lats when pulling. Great lat builder and challenges the core/hip flexors simultaneously. I'd use them if your pull ups are becoming easier to perform and you'd like to throw in a challenge 👍

It can definitely take time and form doesn’t have to be absolutely perfect at first. Cut the range, keep the knees bent if needed and build up reps overtime 🤘
