I've seen tons of KZbin videos with unbelievable claims of making five-figure incomes from copywriting. Thanks for being brutally honest about the reality of venturing into the copywriting field. Finally--the cold, hard truth, instead of selling newbie copywriters a pipe dream. It's an oversaturated field with the majority of them selling their copywriting courses. On my journey to get there, I've concluded that copywriting success is a marathon rather than a sprint.

37:50 Ive been binge watching you all morning and 37:50 about bigger clients not sharing conversion rates conflicts with another of your videos about partnering up with clients rather than just taking orders. Can you clarify?

hi! its both.... my clients for the most part dont share conversion rates so its something im trying to bring up more and more in those initial convos with prospects like "would you be comfortable keeping me in the loop on how this email performs?" but in general since I have my own email list at this stage of the game, i can now showcase my own results from my personal brand. however, freelancers who dont have thier own list or platforms really should lean into this parntership mentality and care about their clients numbers both for the client's sake and their own portfolio/proof sake. hope that makes sense
