Great vids Erick. Question: tricky figuring how to transport and launch a 15 foot with 100 lb outboard using the wheels. Seems impossible without just using a boat trailer and forgetting about the wheels. A flat bed trailer may work but then the trailer would be way too long and probably not good to have boat spend too much time on the wheels (better to rest transom on ground for long drive). You seem to have good ideas and so thought to ask.
@ErickMartinSucre3 жыл бұрын
Hmm, well, I transport my in my car. Once I arrive at the boat ramp, I inflatable the boat, put on the wheels, place the outboard and roll it to the boat ramp. Once in the boat ramp,ni begin to pack the boat with my things. What kind of car do you use?
@Spiritwing73 жыл бұрын
@@ErickMartinSucre thanks for the response ! I use a truck and have no problem getting it to the ramp and inflating it there. But then there’s the heavy outboard which is the problem. To push a family of 4 or 5 I suspect a 9.9 HP or above may be ideal. So we’re looking at 100 lb or greater weight so loading and unloading becomes a challenge. I can go with a 6 HP which would be lighter for transport but I had a bad experience before with laying motors down sideways and though they say it’s doable with some, I’m a bit anxious about that. That’s my thoughts while I figure out a good combo to take out to the lake !
