Mate ..I’ve been bricklaying 43 years here in the U.K. and I really don’t understand the way you guys work imperial ..?! It is soooo much easier to work metric really ! No question it’s easier in general. But practically speaking when your materials are all produced in imperial it becomes a pain to convert back and forth. In ideal world we’d make the switch across the board but for the time being we make do. After all we all learned this way so we are used to it.

Great job instructing! I started in '71, retired now from brick and stone, now drive boats instead. Nice looking work, too. Saw you lay some "squint's in the field. I guess all the 45's are done.
