@@dannyhendrix6590 No. You could use Neenah 3g paper with regular inkjet, but it's not the best quality.

As long as the carrier from one sheet is not under the htv of a different layer/color, that should be fine.

Excellent process but shrinkage is my issue with layering so even with markers its off...I use siser vinyl and do a 2 second tap with heat press.

how do you use the software to make the layers?
@charliebrown10063 жыл бұрын
I’m sure you figured it out by now but for other ppl looking you use vector based software like illustrator, vectornator, photopea(free) or gimp(free)

In the video you mentioned that there is a way to layer vinyl onto one carrier sheet and then press once. I haven't been able to find an articles or videos online. Can you explain in another video how that would be done?

How do I prevent the top layer vinyl from peeling ?
@RookieMistakeYT3 жыл бұрын
So it depends. I would make sure you’re using enough pressure on your Heat Press machine. Also depends on how many layers and what type of HTV you’re using. Lmk if you need more info. I’ve done up to 4 layers before with no issues.

Hi. Just thinking on st arting the same business. Was wondering. Do you prefer vinyl than heat transfer paper?
@NekoPrints2 жыл бұрын
What kind of heat transfer paper are you talking about? the one that you use in a regular inkjet printer? If that's the case, then yes. Vinyl is waaay better than that kind of paper. That kind of printing eventually washes off and cracks. Heat transfer vinyl is very durable and lasts years if pressed right and purchased from a legitimate company like Siser or Heat transfer warehouse.

Seems like an extra unneeded step when at the end you still have to line it up with your marks, but I get the objective, given folk more options!
@ONEMusic8013 жыл бұрын
I get how your doing it but I'm stuck on how you leave the letters on the second piece to line up to the 1st one. U mentioned something bout doing something to the blade but you lost me at that specific step.
@RookieMistakeYT3 жыл бұрын
If anything use registration marks in your design and cut it just make sure you weed that piece off or cut it out before pressing. You’ll see a light outline from where that particular mark was and be able to use that. At the end of the day it’s best to just print off a pic of how your final design should look and develop a good eye for it. There’s lil tips and tricks that are easy but for some people new to it, it just further complicates the process.
@ONEMusic8013 жыл бұрын
@@RookieMistakeYT totally agreed, I know of the registration mark way but here he did something like different which does seem a lil more complicated than just doing a registration mark.
