Hey! Not sure if you're gonna read this and reply, but I wanna tell you that I think you're the best teacher ever. I found so many tutorials but they were either too fast, or not well explained. Your "NOT TODAY" tutorial helped so much. I learned the chorus first (I don't think it's the right way to learn the chorus first lol), cause I was like never really gonna learn a BTS dance, but I was like, let's give it a shot. And it made me realize that it's actually pretty easy. So now I'm learning the rest of it.(In order this time :P). THANKYOU SOOOOOO much!!!!!! And you're so sweet and cute. And I wanted to know that what are your favourite K-pop groups and do you like BTS and Got7?? Plus, I have a request. If possible, can you take time and do a tutorial of "DOPE" by BTS?? I'll be so glad if you do it. I really REALLY wanna learn that. And thankx for this lovely advice. It'll make my day if you reply. Keep up the good work!!!

I Dab every morning when I wake Up Hi there! I'm so sorry for the late reply. I'm so glad you find my tutorials helpful! And yes I do like BTS & GOT7, my other favourites are iKON and NCT! As for requests, my tutorials are chosen through a voting poll for new songs, so since DOPE is older I may possibly do it as a throwback tutorial one day :)

I really got sad when you said we should use gadgets with big screen 'cause I really don't have any of that. We're so poor that I can't even afford an android phone so I had to learn dances in a keypad phone (I don't know if your familiar with that but it's common here in the Philippines, and the resolution of the videos are so low that it looks a lot pixelated) and I really agree when you said it'll hurt my eyes. However, I love what I'm doing so I'm really working hard. I would love to have my own channel but I know it's still far from reality. I loved your tutorials BTW. They're really helpful to us fans. Thank you. PS. I learned my first dance because of you. TT by TWICE.

I searched a tutorial video of Navillera because I want to learn it so I clicked your tutorial video. Since I danced the Navillera, my dancing skills improves so much! Now I can already memorize the steps just watching the choreo over and over again. Thank you! Your tutorials is a big help! I improved so much. @renee.ssance5 жыл бұрын
Hi! I know I'm really late to say this but like what dancers say, "anyone can be a dancer". (at least that's what some say lmao) and dance itself is never easy, it's like when you're first starting it feels as if you're learning a new sport or art from scratch. So it'll take years for you to even set yourself a foundation or be decently good enough. The reason why all the kpop idols look so good while dancing is because they've literally spent years training up for it, countless hours just to perfect a dance routine. Everyone starts the same; all you need is dedication, perseverance and the ability to work smart to improve. Film yourself after you think you're ready, watch and see where you can improve, and keep that in mind when you dance again. Some common problems for beginners will be: hand placement (sometimes your hands might look awkward cause you're anticipating the next move or just don't need to use it during that point of time), body stiffness (try to relax the body parts that you don't require to use for that certain part), execution of movements, etc. You can start off by just learning from home, watching tutorials on your laptop and try to dance to the song. One thing is to first look at the video, then try to do the moves with the video. Afterwards try to do it without the video. If you can't immediately switch from video to no video yet, replay the dance steps in your mind. You can do it slowly and try to recall as much as possible; if you forget a certain part go back to the video to look again, then repeat the process (the mind is a powerful thing, use it! Don't just blindly repeat and repeat until you frustrate yourself because you're not seeing any progress). Finally if you feel like you're ready then dance by listening to the song. Afterwards film yourself then see which parts need to be improved. And just like that, step by step, you'll see progress:) It's also good to keep some of the videos you took over the course of your learning, so if you feel like you're not improving, go back to the first time you actually started dancing and see how much you've come hehehehehe I'm pretty sure when I'm typing this now you've already overcome your fear but ya know, I just wanna make sure :)

Honestly once I learn a kpop dance or dance in general, I do it through all of the speeds on KZbin and I go from the slowest (which for me is 0.5x because 0.25x is just not it😂😬) up to the fastest (which is 2x). This way I build my stamina sort of, as well as make sure I know the dance and all the moves. I also do this so I can do the dance at any speed, so yeah this is just a tip you could possibly use 🤷🏽😊
This is so helpful wow thanks. I also didn't realize how long it took to learn woooaaah. I feel not as bad about myself. Thank you so so so much.

Me & two other BTS obsessed fans decided we wanted learn the GoGo dance. We spent a bunch of hours going along with the Hallowen dance practice. (It was pretty amusing, since, you know, they were dwarfs and Tae was Snow White.) Since there were only three of us, we decided that one of us would have to be two people. I took the part of mostly Jimin, but at one part I was Jin. (If you’ve seen the dance practice, it’s the part where, after they floss, Jin goes in the front, then when Jungkook goes back in the front, I switch back into Jimin.) Anyways, we just watched it to look at them once, and then we started to dance. In all, I believe, in that one night, we practiced over 7 hours. We were really sweaty, but it was really fun, so that was funnn We would also try just lyric videos every 10ish practices just to test our progress. The next morning, we woke up really early and practiced for an hour or two, and now we can do it! It took, in total, I think around 10 hours to learn it. We were doing it over and over and *over* again, and we pushed ourselves, like, a lot. But I think it was worth it, because, *hah* , now we can brag to people at our school that we know a BTS dance. I don’t think really anybody wanted to know this, but _oh well._
