There is adjustment bolt on the driver side with star type holder as you see for mower bearing for attaching the cutting blade. At least there is one on my LT 1042.

Around 2.53 i go over the adjustment bold. Maybe it's a different design on mine compared to the 42 but it somewhat works.

Bought me a used cub cadet back last fall. Put new belts and pto lever on it because it wouldnt engage the pto. Put it to work in the yard and the cut was horrible. Frustrated and convinced I'd wasted my money I put the mower beside my shed covered in a tarp. Decided to pull it out today and check it out and noticed the deck is crooked both side to side and front to back. I watched another video about the front to back adjustment and now yours about the side to side adjustments. It's late now,but I'm gonna park it on my concrete patio tomorrow and see if I cant get this baby cutting correctly. Thank you very much for the info.

Make sure to check the tire pressures too. It's a great mower but the mess it was making with an uneven cut was unacceptable. Let me know if you manage to fix the deck this time. Thanks for watching and glad you found the video useful.

QUESTION... Should the deck actually wobble freely up and down a few inches like a see-saw or Should it be firmly in place... When sitting mine can move just by barely pushing down on it and it cuts 1.5 inches off of the setting even to the earth's dirt...

Mine does wobble, and I believe that is how it should be. I have no problems now that it is level.
