Most IMPORTANT thing to do is, remove any filament "nub" from the extruder nozzle, this is extremely important or else nothing you do will be right, even after calibration. This is so important!! Love my machine!!

Holy crap. I can't believe I didn't think to make sure to check this. Also didn't realize that the filament should not be loaded while doing the leveling.

@@themisterface It's easy to miss, just a half a mm is enough to cause bed adhesion and layer problems. With black filament it's extremely hard to see, I'm not talking like a 1/8" more like the thickness of a fingernail. Problem is, it keeps oozing out after the extruder is turned off. I've helped a lot of people achieve excellent prints after that. My entire bed is within one hundredths of an inch leveling (0.01). All my prints have perfect dimensional accuracy now. I know some machines wipe the nozzle before leveling, this one doesn't unfortunately.

So, each time you remove that buildplate to get off a print, your looking at doing this all over again.. Why ? Auto bed levelling is not a new technology.. You guys are far behind here..

At 0:13 you can see there IS automatic leveling available. Most everyone I know prefers to manually do it this way though. Maybe they're old school *shrug*

it's actually working. but the final z-height should be determined by live adjusting while printing a simple one layer test
