Hello Carl, it’s hard to understand what the best way in your project. If your subfloor all the way slightly slope down , you can use tripods make level not all the way, just to that point where it start slope. And next day make final connection compound and wood subfloor with straight edge.

Can this be left as a finished floor, I like the look...and I plan to do this on a concrete foundation...Since I like this color of self level, I prefer to use this brand model of concrete...I do like the troweled look, so maybe it takes on if I trowel a little. Are there any additives I can put to give it more strength? I know in regular concrete they put fiber, but is there anything for this leveling? Also, do you recommend using mesh over the crack areas, in case this helps the top layer flex vs crack at the same spot?.

I'm waiting till tomorrow for it to dry and pour the leveler. I'm wondering if I've messed up by not diluting the Primer T? Hey, thank you for all your videos! They've very professional and informative. I know that they take a great deal of time to make and we all appreciate them. I have a question regarding sealing the perimeter of a room. I took my walls down to the studs and put up new vapour barrier, along with a new 3/4" OSB sub-floor overtop of the old shiplap. There is a slight gap between the vapour barrier and the new sub-floor I was planning to fill with cement prior to self leveling. This would effectively seal the bottom of my barrier and the potential leak points in the old sub-floor in one step. How important is the foam edge acting as an expansion gap? Since my edges will be completely sealed by vapour barrier buried in cement. It seems easier to trowel in cement rather than go around filling every little crack with caulk

Not sure if this means I can’t use leveller. NO METAL LATH (metal sheets) USED ON TOP OF THE PLYWOOD!!! THE INSTRUCTIONS SAYS IT IS REQUIRED TO USE IT ON TOP OF WOOD OR PLYWOOD! ANOTHER GUY USED METAL LATH (metal metal mesh sheets) ON ANOTHER VIDEO . Why this man didn’t use it if it is required??!!
