I've had 4 govee lightstrips, each one of them has worked well for around 2 months and then they have connection issues and won't connect to your internet anymore, so the only way to control them is via bluetooth. Waste of money in my view. Better off betting zigbee led strips and getting a zigbee hub. Less lights clogging up your wifi anway.

all led strips come with that look, the whole dotted look, you should have gotten defuser. that's how you get rid of that. and also the govee light bars for the back of the monitors are a terrible choice. you should have got the immersion lights. they go on the back of the monitor with a camera tyhat sits on your monitor, and watches the lights, and puts the lights around the back of the monitor, in conjunction to what is going on screen. those light bars are acenuators for like under desks, or tv stands.
