I have been pondering how to do this for a month, and that idea is ingenious. Thank you so much!

Thank you for this vid :) i was researching ways to line the bottom of my new dresser drawers but i didn’t want to commit to adhering the lining with glue so this gave me allot of inspiration to use this method!! Its kind of a box anyways lol

Great job!!! I needed this so badly. Looks elegant. Do you have one for covering the outside of the box with fabric. Thank you very much in advance.

If one wanted to make the bottom go up a little higher, like to make a thicker padding to create slots for a ring, how do you think that could be done? By layering more foam pieces? Great video btw!!
@ArtySanCrafts2 жыл бұрын
I would probably use a more solid thicker foam, like memory foam, to make the inside floor of the box. It would be more substantial to cut jewellery slits into and not pull or fray as easily when using for jewellery pieces. Tfw 🙂

I’ve used this method when making jewelry boxes before, but I used contact cement instead of hot glue. I’ll have to try this method as it will be less time involved waiting for the cement to tack up.
